Chapter 10

The sky was starting to darken when MJ opened eyes next. Cruise was standing at the foot of the bed with Ears next to him, turned in the opposite direction. Ears seemed to be more interested in the sounds from the hallway "I got him, now I'll leave you to whatever this is." Cruise said in a snarky tone as he turned and left. MJ let out a sigh, "Ears, that music that gave me. Can you tell me who said those things?" MJ asked. "What things?" He replied, putting his microphone up to the IV pump recording the whirring of the mechanisms. "At the end of the song, there were two voices. They said that they wanted someone dead?" MJ raised her voice to try to get his attention. Ears raised his finger in response, "Shhh... give me a second." Ears stopped his recording and then replied, " I made that recording from inside of my locker, I was stuffed in there by Ian and Silver, cut my ankle, I'm not certain who they were but it was a female voice sounded rather bland and stupid and an inane male, easily trod on and subservient" He replied. "So, you didn't recognise the voices at all" MJ supposed "no, I just saw that one was wearing bright blue shoes and the other had like some mix between pink and maroon plus they were ...werewolves." Ears said "What! Werewolves that's weird I don't know any that would want to kill me? Like the only one I know is Mr. Gyfyn and I don't think he would want to kill me!" She said in shock. "It wasn't him, they were younger, like us but bigger. Are you going to eat that?" Ears asked pointing at a package of Food Sauce on her bedside table. "What? Focus Ears! Someone's trying to kill me and you want Food Sauce!" She yelled. "They changed the recipe and I enjoy the hint of smoky Chanterelle that was enhanced by the addition of Chloroxedinetriumvertol 62." He answered, ignoring her request. "Those aren't even words!" She responded. Cruise walked into the room, tripping over the chord. "Hey, hi I'm here if you didn't know." Cruise said mockingly, there is about a three second pause then MJ said "Oh, hi Zack, I didn't know you were coming". Zack followed Cruise into the room covered in stuffies, flowers and multiple cards "these are from the group." "Huh, kinda figured." MJ responded with a chuckle Zack looked at Ears you could see that he's fuming "WHY IS HE HERE, DID YOU DO THIS YOU INSANE LITTLE ... UGGG I'LL KILL YOU..." everyone's terrified, but MJ "stop it, I wanted him here." she takes a deep breath and continues "you can't just start yelling at people if you don't know the entire story." "Well, am I intruding?" Dr. spry asked "Mary Jane we need to talk." The others slowly filtered out. "its normal for this to happen so don't be scared I'm not mad. I'm here to tell you something, its rare to have someone like you still alive in this country. The werewolf population... I thought, they would have wiped you out by now. how much do you truly know about your grandparents?" Dr. spry asked "Not much I know that my grandfather died when my mom was little." MJ was starting to get confused "How did that happen? Why don't you know that much about him. " Dr. spry said "maybe you need to talk to your parents its not my position to say." He looked down, then made his way out of the room with a leap.
