I can't believe I traveled across the globe just to find my Grandfather, I don't even have any idea if he is dead or alive I don't even know what he looks like, I feel so bad for not searching for him all this while, my mom did advice me to go to him when I am in need, I am sure she must have a good reason why she asked me to find him,
I pray he is alive if not my journey here will be in vain,
I trudge my hoodie closer, hailing for a cab to take me to the address I managed to scribble down from my mother's dairy, lily went to my apartment to get some of my stuff, I love how she always cares for me, she is my best friend for life, I wish I could tell her everything but I can't involve her in any of my plans, to keep her away from all these dramas,
Tony and kelvin were also a huge help I will forever be grateful to them for all their help, they arranged for a fake passport for me so I could get out of the country without being seen, They all helped me with my change of appearance and a whole lot to prevent myself from getting recognized, I cut my mid-back long hair to a shoulder-length with a sideway bang, I dyed my hair black, I love my ginger red hair but it always brings a lot of unnecessary attention, I wore some contact lens to change the color of my eyes from green to blue, they also suggested I wore some weird nerdy glasses,
Yep, no one will recognize me in this shitty look they put up for me, but my hair looks nice anyway, it was a very long flight and I was feeling very tired and jet lag,
"Do you know this Address?" I asked giving him the paper, he looked at it for a while handing the note back to me, and he nodded.
"Yes miss"
"Can you take me to this address, please " I got into the cab, I stared out the window looking at the beautiful city,
"First time in the city? " he asked
"Yes, " I answered

I paid my fare, bringing my luggage out of the boot of the car, I was glad I traveled light, I stared at the house in shock, I knew my grandpa was rich but I didn't know he was multi-million rich,
My dad's mansion looked so small compared to the mansion that looks like a freaky castle, I wearily approached the big Golden Gate, the landscape was absolutely beautiful from there,
I pressed the button at the side of the Golden Gate,
"State your business here, " a voice echoed, I jumped in fright, and I rearranged myself looking around to see if there were any security cameras, yep they were
Act cool T, you are a rich man's daughter too
Yes, that's right, maybe my change of appearance is messing with my confidence, or am feeling very nervous about the whole thing,
"Hahahahah" I heard the man laugh from the other side, do I sound funny,
"Getaway Girl, Mr Rossi doesn't have any granddaughters, this is the wrong address go find somewhere else to beg"
"This is the correct address, I am his granddaughter and I can prove it and I demand to see him " I yelled angrily, I am no beggar, how dare he call me a beggar
"Getaway Girl"
"Why don't you let me speak to him to clear all suspensions"
"You are trespassing miss, leave this instance or I will call security on you"
"Please let me speak to my grandfather," I pleaded, I didn't receive any reply after that, I guess I didn't think this through, Tony was right I should have thought of everything, I didn't know security was going to be so tight around him, I didn't know he was this rich, why can't anything go my way, I wonder why I never visited him or was introduced to him,
Mom if you are watching me right now I need your help, I sat down beside the gate refusing to go anywhere else till I met my grandfather, I didn't bring enough money with me, Tony and Lillian offered to give him some but I refused, they helped me enough, I was in a foreign country all by myself, I was so desperate to see him that I didn't even think of my next action,
A few hours later I had almost given up and decided to look for a hotel to spend the night, I brought out a bar of chocolate from my purse and munched on it, I saw a flashy Limousine approaching and hooted at the gate, I stood up from the dusting my pants I Immediately left the front of the gate,
The door of the limo was opened and a man came out of the limo and approached me,
"Mr. Rossi would like to know what you are doing here, "a strange man asked he was in a suit, and he was too young to be my grandfather.
     I explained everything to the man, who nodded and went to report back to his boss, I hope that's my grandfather.
  A few minutes later I was invited into the house, I sat down as the babe offered me a drink, I politely declined,
  A man walked who seemed to be in his late seventy but was dressed sharply he looked younger than he was supposed to be, I quickly stood up from the couch
"What proof do you have to show that you are my granddaughter" he asked going straight to the point
"My mother's name is Catrina Macaulay " I nervously answered.
"Your mother's name is Catrina " he echoed, he looked surprised
"Why are you here?" He asked going straight to the point, I gulp not knowing what to say
"My mother asked me to give you this "It was a letter my mother gave to me years ago, she asked me to go to her father and give him the letter if I was in need and didn't have anyone to turn to, I didn't know the content of the letter, I never opened it to know the content,
"Welcome to my home " he declared, as he walked away he instructed the maid to show me to my room
I wondered what was the content of the letter that he did not question me any further
