Chapter 45: New Genesis

The season changed from spring to winter in a single night. A cold but bearable morning began. The blue sky had disappeared, and the sunlight had been extinguished by the presence of sad clouds hiding the infinite horizon. Snowflakes descended from the sky and landed gently on the ground covered with a fine white sheet.

A wintry wind shook the foliage of the trees in the colours of the snow falling from the treetops. The town's scenery had changed since the snow began to fall, and a magical atmosphere had enveloped the peaceful town since the previous night's festival.

It was the day of Uta's concert, and the event was to be broadcast live around the world. The people of Elegia and tourists alike made their way to the venue for Uta's concert, a huge open-air concert hall that could welcome thousands of visitors.

The entire population of Elegia was there, except a group who had stayed at the island's castle to discuss their plan. A great battle was about to begin around Elegia, and (Y/N) and his companions were going to fight the World Government to continue their journey.

(Y/N) had received a lot of information from Stussy, but no one knew why she had given information to her enemies. Stussy's intentions remained mysterious, it could be a trap and this woman was still an enemy that (Y/N) intended to defeat in order to take his revenge.

The others doubted the information, but (Y/N) thought they could trust Stussy. This information allowed the alliance to establish a strategy to defeat the World Government fleet that was soon to arrive.

(Y/N): "Let me recap our plan."

(Y/N) was sitting at a round table with Yamato, Law, Belo Betty, Sabo and Gilgamesh. They had all gathered to finish their strategy.

(Y/N): "We have the Uruk Rebels with over 10,000 men and three commanders: Gilgamesh, Kish and Summer. Then we have the Revolutionary Army with 5000 soldiers, whose commanders are: Sabo, Belo Betty, Koala, Hack and Ahiru. And finally, the pirate group with Yamato, Kikunojo, Pedro, Carrot, Law and myself."

Yamato: "So we have 15,000 men and three different groups."

(Y/N): "Yes, and with this army we're going to defeat the World Government fleet. We've decided to create an encirclement at sea to stop our enemies in their path and destroy them. Yamato, can you show us the map of Elegia?"

The Vice Captain of the Wild Wind Pirates listened to her captain and revealed a large map of Elegia and the surrounding area. (Y/N) showed the north of Elegia, the route by which the World Government fleet would arrive. Everyone had already decided how the army would be organised, and Gilgamesh's fleet would be composed of 7000 men to block the path of the enemy fleet.

Gilgamesh: "The World Government will believe that all our forces will be gathered, we will be a lure to enable the others to appear."

To the north of Elegia, there was a small archipelago, and travel between the two territories was quick. The sea battlefield was close to this archipelago, where the Revolutionary Army fleet was hiding. The group had decided that Sabo and his group would command 4000 soldiers. The group's objective would be to attack the World Government fleet from the left flank to surprise them.

(Y/N): "The pirate group led by Law will then leave from the coast of Elegia to surprise the enemy from the right flank. They're made up of Law, Yamato, Pedro, and Carrot, each of whom is strong enough to fight alone so a small number of soldiers will accompany them."

Law: "Yeah, 1000 men will be enough for the attack."

Yamato: "Hey, (Y/N)! Why do I have to obey Law? I wanted to command this army."
