Chapter 52: Comeback of Ulti and Page One

In one of the taverns on the island where (Y/N) was located, a beautiful young woman with blue hair was playing a game of cards with her brother. Surprised at losing the game so quickly, she lost her temper and destroyed the table with a powerful punch. She threatened to crush everyone in the tavern, but her brother managed to calm her anger.

It was Ulti, one of the Tobirropo of Kaido's crew, along with her younger brother Page One. After (Y/N) had infiltrated Onigashima to rescue Yamato and go on an adventure with her, Kaido had sent Ulti and Page One to capture them. Unfortunately, their encounter with Ace interrupted their pursuit.

Ulti and Page One met Portgas D. Ace on their way to (Y/N). This encounter between the pirates led to a confrontation that destroyed their ship. Ulti and Page One lost the soldiers accompanying them and were shipwrecked on this island, while Ace left to rejoin his crew, thinking he had defeated his opponents.

After long days of rest to recover from the latest events, Ulti had become depressed because of her failures. Every day, she spent her time drinking alcohol and insulting (Y/N), whom she considered the source of all her misfortunes, forgetting the mission she had to accomplish.

Ulti: "It's (Y/N)'s fault I lost that game!"

Page One: "Calm down, big sister. (Y/N) isn't even on this island..." He was interrupted by the arrival of a man demanding the attention of everyone in the tavern. The man announced that the pirate Wild Wind was on the island and the Marine was looking for him. The reward for his capture was 400,000,000 so everyone in the tavern took out weapons and left the establishment to capture (Y/N).

Ulti: "(Y/N) is on this island? This is our chance to fix this injustice!"

Page One: "What?"

Ulti: "Recently, we've been suffering nothing but defeats while (Y/N)'s bounty has been rising continuously. It's not fair, how dare he laugh at us while getting the glory!"

Page One: "It must be fate for him to be present on the same island as us."

Ulti: "Come on Pay-Pay, let's find (Y/N) and crush him!"

Page One: "Don't forget we mustn't kill him. Kaido needs him alive to read the Poneglyphs, he's one of the few people in the world who can do that."

Ignoring his warnings, Ulti grabbed his brother's arm and dragged him out of the tavern to find (Y/N) in the city streets. Meanwhile, the main character was in a dark alleyway with Stussy threatening to torture Princess Enhedua in order to gather important information. He was trying to calm down Stussy, as he didn't think it was a good idea to frighten the Princess of Uruk.

(Y/N): "I want to have a quiet chat with her. We don't need to fight."

Stussy: "Don't be silly, she threatened you with a gun. Strong-arm tactics are the way to force her to reveal the information I need."

CP0 agents were no ordinary humans. The World Government trained them to become weapons, so they were able to torture and kill to accomplish their missions. Although Stussy was a double agent for Vegapunk, she was still a killer using CP0 methods.

She didn't really feel pity for others, but she wasn't totally insensitive. Even a monster could feel emotions, but Stussy found it hard to understand her own feelings, so she didn't feel human... This misunderstanding of herself didn't allow Stussy to understand that she was wrong about the world and herself.

(Y/N): "I don't know Enhedua very well yet... But she seems to have had a difficult life, she was simply frightened when she threatened me with her gun."

Stussy: "I'm not as sweet and kind as you, (Y/N). I have no time to waste so I beg you to please get out of my way."

(Y/N): "Once a queen taught me to settle disputes peacefully. I'm not as naive as she was, because I know that some people can't be reasoned with. However, my instincts have never lied to me about a person's true nature."
