Chapter 51: (Y/N) and The Sky Poetess

After shopping, where Stussy had taken (Y/N) to buy new clothes and provisions for the rest of their journey, they stopped at a restaurant for lunch. Sitting on the terrace enjoying the fresh air, Stussy sipped a cup of tea while (Y/N) gobbled up various dishes of meat, vegetables, rice and fish, giving a difficult task to the waiters who were going back and forth between the kitchens and (Y/N)'s table.

One waiter picked up a pile of plates while another placed new plates full of food on the table before returning to the kitchen. All the staff, customers and passers-by were impressed by the enormous amount of food he was eating. Once he had finished his food, Stussy was surprised by the bill for the meal, which she was going to pay after promising (Y/N) to buy him food.

Stussy: "What? Why is it so expensive?" She knew (Y/N) liked to eat, but she didn't know he was capable of eating so much food.

Waiter: "We're sorry, but your partner has eaten so much that he's emptied all the restaurant's stock. We're even going to close the restaurant for the day as we won't be able to serve the other customers."

Stussy glanced at (Y/N) who was sleeping peacefully after a delicious meal, he was quite happy to have eaten for free.

Stussy: "I can't believe he managed to empty a whole restaurant by himself... I'd better be more careful what he eats or I'll be ruined..."

The bill paid and Stussy's wallet almost empty, she took (Y/N) to a park where she placed the young man asleep on the grass and sat down next to him to watch a fountain where couples came to spend a romantic moment. Stussy watched the couples, feeling that she couldn't possibly share the same feelings, as she didn't feel human...

(Y/N): "I'm still hungry, I want to eat a bowl of ramen!" (Y/N)'s awakening brought Stussy back to reality as she turned her gaze to the young man who still seemed hungry.

Stussy: "How are you (Y/N)? I hope you enjoyed your meal."

(Y/N): "Yeah, I often take a nap when I eat a really good meal. Why are we in a park?"

Stussy: "You fell asleep suddenly at the restaurant so I brought you here so you could sleep peacefully. I was waiting for you to wake up so I could talk to you about something important."

(Y/N): "What do you want to talk about?"

Stussy: "I'm sorry, I should have talked to you about it earlier. After we left Elegia, I made my report to the World Government that I was pursuing your crew to capture you. Obviously, that was a lie, but my superiors gave me another mission to rectify the affront of their defeat in Elegia."

(Y/N): "You've got a new mission? Let me remind you that you said you were going to take me to Egghead, so I left my companions to follow you!"

Stussy: "Don't worry, I'll keep my promise. The reason we came to this island was to get provisions, but also to complete my mission and then we'll go to Egghead."

(Y/N): "Okay, but what's your mission? What do you have to do?"

Stussy: "Over the last few days, the World Government has been having problems with the Uruk Kingdom. Queen Ishtar had hidden a princess called Enhedua who escaped from Uruk. She would be very important to the World Government because she would know secrets that could change the balance of the world."

(Y/N): "So the World Government and the Uruk Kingdom are in crisis over Enhedua. These secrets must be really important for both to be trying to capture her."

Stussy: "Unfortunately, the Five Elders would rather avoid a diplomatic incident with one of the Twenty Kingdoms that created the World Government. They want to capture Enhedua and eliminate Ishtar for this act, which they judge as treason to place a new king on the throne of Uruk."
