Jordan off into an empty room, as Halle guided her sibling into the room with them leaving Ken out in the living room. they shut and lock the door behind themselves not wanting Ken to come and retaliate against Jordan.

" Jordan what the hell is wrong with you, what did I tell you about hitting people!" Taraji said a little disappointed in her son but still happy that he did what everyone was thinking

" Ma you think I'm going to let him do that, talk about you like that, what he did what's wrong and we're just going to sit here and pretend like it didn't happen? Pretending like this ain't happening for years" he said flailing his arms around he was upset and had every right to be upset.

he had just learned that his father was the man who arrested him, and on top of that wanted him aborted, and raped his mother. he couldn't believe what was going on but he could not believe it there was no other explanation and this was the only one he had ever gotten. Halle was visibly upset tears stained her face and she wouldn't say anything she couldn't look at them. She didn't know what to say to all of this, her father was somebody that she didn't even know, her mother was gay or something, and now their parents were getting a divorce, and she just found out that Jordan was her brother. although there was a little relief that she didn't like Jordan in that way.

" Jordan I understand you're upset but you can't just be hitting people you know what he did so let's not be stupid on his level. thank you for defending me but you can't do things like that just because somebody's coming after me. and yes I thank you for being there and defending me but what you just did I end you up in a cell next time, now stay here while I try and go calm his ass down and maybe he won't come back and try and put you in jail. it was scary enough when he did it for no reason" Taraji said as she looked her son did in his eyes, and went back out into the living room

Jordan just looked at Fantasia as if she wasn't going to stop it, she gave him a look back telling him to leave it alone. she didn't want any more trouble than they already were and neither did Taraji and yes all the things that they talked about and confessed to me to come to the light. they both knew that what was done in the dark would always come to the light, just neither of them expected it to come to the light this way. 

"Ken, I'm not going to call the police on you because you have two children, three but I don't think my son has anything to do with you. and I'm not going to take their father away from them, because I'm not that careless like you are, but that is beside the point..." She paused she didn't know what to say next to him being nice was so hard when everything you seemed to do was to hurt her

" what are you saying, you scared, embarrassed, or are trying to be friends?"

"No why would I ever want to be friends with you, I'm trying to make sure we're on a good page, cuz obviously things are changing, and you can't keep doing this dumb shit we keep doing," Taraji said bluntly as she sat down far away from him

" you and my wife are not getting married I can tell you that now, I won't have it that's my wife, she's the mother of my kids, and I'll be damned if I let my wife get a divorce so she can marry the person that she sleeps around with" 

" that's not your decision to make Ken, Fantasia has every right  *and reason* to divorce you."

" well I don't care what she wants, this is about what I want, I'm the damn person that put her in this house, I'm the damn person who got her a job at that corporate law firm that she's now the junior partner at?" 

"Nigga what the fuck could you as possibly done to get her a promotion?"

"Just like how I was with you I can be very persuasive..." he gave a wicked smile as he said that, and every hair on Taraji's body stood up
