May,2050

General Mann was retiring and as was the custom for hundreds of years a Großer Zapfenstreich, or "Grand Tatoo" would be preformed for him. The ceremony was a tradition.

Lukas watched the Marching up of the formation playing the Yorckscher Marsch. Then the forming up and dressing of the formation after the match of the Torchbearers. Then the new General Marx spoke:

"General Mann has had a distinguished career from being a general who hired his service in beating Russia during the Ukraine war, to His command as the supreme commander during World War III and his final command during the Nigerian Civil War. Three Cheers for General Mann!"

"Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!" The soldiers including him chanted.

Now the three songs by General Mann were played, Prußens Gloria, Njet Vladimir, and Nien Putin.

The Ceremony continued as tradition dictated until the arrived at one of the Final acts, the playing of the National Anthem:

"Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Für das deutsche Vaterland!
Danach lasst uns alle streben
Brüderlich mit Herz und Hand!
Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Sind des Glückes Unterpfand –
𝄆 Blüh' im Glanze dieses Glückes,
Blühe, deutsches Vaterland!
𝄇"

It was sung as the soldiers held their torches and the ceremony soon came to an end. And just like that a 30 year long career came to an end.
