Sunny watched as Whiplash stirred, his silver scales stained with the dark red of Horizon's blood. She felt a shiver run down her spine. The Whiplash she had met was kind and gentle, not a killer. But the arena had brought out a side of him she hadn't seen before.
"Whiplash," she called out hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper. He turned to look at her, his startling blue eyes meeting hers. There was a hardness in his gaze that hadn't been there before."Sunny," he replied, his voice hoarse. "I... I didn't have a choice."Sunny nodded, understanding the harsh reality of their situation. But understanding didn't make it any easier. "I know," she said softly, "But it's still hard to accept."They fell into silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Sunny couldn't help but feel a sense of fear. She was afraid of what the arena could turn them into. But more than that, she was afraid of losing the friend she had found in Whiplash. As the day turned into night, Sunny found herself unable to sleep. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw the arena, heard the cheers of the crowd, felt the fear. And through it all, she saw Whiplash, his scales stained with blood, his eyes filled with a pain she couldn't begin to understand. She knew then that their journey was only just beginning. And it was a journey she feared they might not survive.

The morning light filtered through the small window, casting a soft glow on Whiplash's silver scales. Sunny watched him from her corner, her heart heavy with the events of the previous day.Whiplash stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He looked at Sunny, a silent question in his gaze. "Did you sleep?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.Sunny shook her head, her eyes meeting his. "No," she admitted, "I couldn't."Whiplash nodded, understanding in his gaze. "I'm sorry, Sunny," he said softly, "I didn't want you to see that."Sunny looked at him, her heart aching for her friend. "It's not your fault, Whiplash," she said, "We're just trying to survive."They fell into silence, the weight of their situation hanging heavy in the air. But despite the fear and uncertainty, they knew they had each other. And in the harsh world of the Sky Kingdom, that was something to hold on to.As the day wore on, Sunny found herself watching Whiplash. She saw the way he carried himself, the determination in his eyes. And she knew then that no matter what happened, Whiplash would fight. Not just for himself, but for her as well. And with that thought, Sunny found a glimmer of hope. A hope that maybe, just maybe, they could survive this together.

Whiplash however had different thoughts. He was afraid his scales had dried blood on him and he didn't want that reminder of death on him. He was deeply troubled on the fact that he A) killed a dragon, B) He really didn't feel bad about it, and C) He felt like he would kill him again with pleasure. This troubled him a lot and he also noticed the way Sunny looked at him, like he might go crazy and try to kill her. "Would I?", Whiplash thought, "Would I really kill my only friend in this miserable place?"  It scared him even more when the most bizarre thought came to his mind, "I wouldn't really mind... Hell give anyone to kill and I make see death so fast that they won't know what hit them. OOOO Give me that guard and I'll gouge out his eyes and shove it down his throat so he can see me tear him to shreds from the inside." Fear was definitely winning this battle.
