It's been about 4ish months since Jermaine came to my dorm to apologize for his friend's behaviour and we've been hanging out everyday since.

After that day he came he offered that we could go to this hamburger spot so he could get to know me better and I agreed to it and I Damn sure don't regret it.

He right away became one of my best friends. I learned that he wanted to become a rapper and at first I laughed because every man at this university wanted to become a rapper one day. That was until I heard some of his mixtapes that's when I realized he could actually make it one day.

I also told him that I write songs and I wanted become a singer one day and ever since I told him that he keeps saying how we will become big one day together.

Blowing out the cloud of smoke I started giggling as Jermaines face was pressed against my stomach as he laid in between my legs.

We we're currently laying on my white carpet in my bedroom sharing a blunt as elevators by outkast played quietly in the background.I took another hit of the blunt until I felt him nibbling on my stomach I let out a loud laugh feeling him smirking against my skin.

"Get your weird ass off me boy" I said pushing him off me a lil as he went and laid beside me before taking the blunt."can I show you one of the songs I've been working on I need your opinion. Jermaine asked before sitting up.

"Of course the cd player is right there go grab it and ur tape " he quickly responded okay before getting up fast excited to show me the song he made. Putting the disc into the player I quickly recognized the beat of one of her favourite songs didn't cha know making me sit up more straight and look at J with a raised eye as he just smirked at me.

"Yo J that was fire and you used the beat to one of my favourite songs. You got a name for it yet?" I asked white reaching to replay the song."yeah I was planning to name it too deep for the intro" Jermaine said sparking up a new blunt."that's cool which reminds me I need to start writing more lyrics and songs but I just don't have the Motivation. I said as a frown made it's way on my face.

"Hey don't be upset I'll find help you find the right motivation okay?" He said grabbing my chin making me look at him as I nodded my head.

Damn he's fine.

6 days later

"I'm so glad you called right on time
You must have just read my mind
If we skipped the small talk, want you now" I was currently jotting some lyrics that I thought of out of the blue. Until I heard my room door burst open making me quickly jump up and grab my chest.

"The fuck is wrong wit chu J almost gave me a heart attack" I said a lil angry before checking on my door making sure that mf still good.

"Man fuck all dat guess who I just got signed by" he said trying not to burst out in excitement as I shrugged my shoulders not knowing."Jay-z" he said showing me his smile as my eyes grew wide.

"you lying...oh my god are you serious" I asked surprised as he nodded his coming towards me before pulling me into a hug as his head rested into the crook of my neck. "Damn T I can't believe I actually got signed with someone I've looked up to"  he said as he sat on my bed. "I'm so proud of you Jermaine you deserve this for real" I said with a smile.

He looked at me for a couple of seconds before leaning in and kissing my lips. I didn't kiss back for the first few seconds cause I was in shock but then I started to slowly kiss back.

grabbing me by the band of my tights he pulled me on top of him in a straddling position before giving my ass a smack making me let out a moan into his mouth, our kissing started to become more passionate as our breathing became heavier. Jermaine pulled back little before whispering against my lips."fuck what are you doing to me baby" he asked in a raspy voice almost a whimper that turned me on so much. I looked at him before kissing his lips again.

Later that day

Alicia and me were at brunch at this little restaurant as I told her about what went down with J after he told me his news. "Wait wait wait so y'all kissed??" She asked with an aggressive whisper. As I nodded while sipping my orange juice. "Did y'all....fuck?" She asked again.

"What no we didn't fuck we made out for a couple of minutes and then we cuddled and took a nap" I spoke while cutting my waffles. "I thought y'all were besties though you told me y'all would never go that far" Alicia said while giving me a look as my cheeks turned red.

"Yeah I know it just....happened you know?"

"Okayy if you say soooooooo" she said as I just rolled my eyes.

I took a deep breathe as I stood in front of the big company building of roc nation records as nerves took over my body.

Walking in I went to the receptionist  telling her I got an appointment as someone came and led me the way to go. Walking through a hallway that had a bunch of music records and plaques on the wall for some reason spiked up my nerves knowing now this was legit.

Walking into a studio I see Jay-z sitting in a chair with some others guys there as well.

"Mr J cole how it do" Jay said as he dapped up Jermaine.

"I'm doing good man thank you for this opportunity by the way I really look up to you and your music."

"Thanks man I appreciate it. But now I wanna see you drop some bars in the studio" Jay said and he lead Jermaine to the booth knowing this moment would change his life forever.
