Inhaling the blunt I held in the smoke for a couple of seconds before releasing it while when u cry by SWV played loudly in my room.

Laying on my bed with the clothes I got ready to wear because Jermaine told me a day before he was gonna take me somewhere to make up for all the other times he's ditched out on our plans....just for him to do it again today.

Now I'm here in my own thoughts. Like I understand that he's busy. He dropped a mixtape on July 27th called Friday night lights and right after that he started working on a studio album that's he's gonna name cole world: The sideline story.

But the times he's ditches me he's not even working he goes to places like the strip club or just to go smoke weed and drink with his friends.

It hurts cause it feels like I barley to exist to him anymore and all those sweet things he's said and moments we had makes me feel like it was all bullshit.

Flashback
July 11th 2009

It was 3am as Me and Jermaine were sitting at a 24 hour pizza shop. J was watching my every move with a smirk as I played with my straw that was in my milkshake.

"What's wrong mamas why you so quiet" J asked as he leaned his body forward to grab my hand bringing it to his and I started to play with his fingers. "Nothings wrong" I respond with a mumble.

"Fool someone else T, come on Ma tell me what's wrong baby" he said in a soft voice as he tucked a curl behind me ear.

"you won't change right" I blurted out mentally cussing myself out for saying it like that. "What?" He chuckled with a confused face.

"Like you won't let this change you right like once you get more known you'll still always be by my side right?

"T. Where is this coming from?" J asked a little worried as he noticed T's eyes started to water

Quickly standing up he made her stand as well before making her sit in his lap sideways as he wiped her tears."nah baby what is you crying fo huh?"

"I just don't want you to leave me. Your my best friend J" she said as she nuzzled into his neck.

"Ay ayy listen to me ain't nobody leaving no one T I'm sorry but since the moment we became friends I'm sorry shawty but you is stuck with me" he said tightly wrapping his arms around her waist and peppering kissed all over her cheeks chin and forehead making her laugh as she tried to escape his hold.

Present
Tiana laughed lightly thinking about that memory not even realizing tears left her eyes until they ran to her ears.

Even though me and Jermaine were never a couple we did do a lot of things regular friends don't do, with the way we acted and the things we said to each other.

Turning onto my side I see a cam recorder Jermaines to be exact. I guess he left it here.

Getting up I walked over to it opening it up skimming through it seeing a bunch of pictures and videos of me and J.

I stop at a particular video before pressing play on it.

"Jermaine get that damn camera out my face"

"nah you look too beautiful I'm good" he replies before placing it down in front of me as my eyes were focused on his lap top fixing up the beat he made a little bit.
