"Then we woke up two weeks later and stayed for two months," Donghyuck sighs. "All because of the harm we put on each other, you see? Soulmate bonds are very fragile."

Seorin felt like shit. After hearing their stories it seemed like her issues were insignificant, she could not hate herself anymore. Then there's the fact that she could see they meant well, they were probably not as bad as she thought but it all boiled down to her. She will do everything to make sure she never repeats the mistakes she made in the past.

"Thank you for sharing something so personal, that sounds very scary," was all she could say with all the questions and concerns piling up in her head. It was all too overwhelming, she could feel their nervousness through the bond, and she wanted to do everything in her power to comfort them. In her mind, she wondered if they feared the past repeating if she chose to leave them.

"We'll drop you off at home if you want, this has been such a hectic day for you," Jisung breaks the tense silence. The moment he pulled his hand back from her, a sense of dizziness washed over her.

He quickly holds her hand again. "You need to heal first, never mind," he mutters to himself in embarrassment. Seorin sits between them, all three of them deciding to sit with zero gaps between them and now she was awkwardly crushed from both sides.

It became oddly silent. They pulled out their phones to pass the time but nobody cared about their phones, Donghyuck was scrolling through his Spotify playlist.

A knock came on the door, and Mrs Park showed up with a tray of food.

"Oh my goodness," Seorin curls in embarrassment. "I'm sorry about this Mrs. Park," an apology comes out before she can think.

"What are you sorry for? I'll leave you alone. Call me if you need anything," she smiles at them. Jisung hides his face when his mother sends him a knowing look, also wishing he could crumble away.

"Oh, it's ramen!"  Donghyuck chirps happily, grabbing a bowl. She gets whiplash from the giddiness that made her skin tingle with no cause. Jisung noticed her flinching and smiled knowingly.

"You'll get used to it, it's usually not like this," he reassured her as he grabbed both of their bowls, offering her one.

She would have normally eaten a bowl within seconds, and if she were stressed she would proceed to eat another two bowls.

When was the last time she had ramen? It's been two months, since when she was having it every day.
She ate the boiled egg on top and drank some of the broth before placing it back. Donghyuck noticed it first.

"You have to eat to get better." He gives the bowl back. Fear filled her as she thought of the calories, and it was so uncomfortable when others watched her, and to not make a scene she reluctantly took a bite, followed by another, and then a third.

Donghyuck was holding his breath as she ate. He knew he would have to face this, bonding with her but he never expected her to be so turbulent. Every snippet of anxiety and mixed negative feelings stirred up in his gut, he even felt like throwing up. When he couldn't take it, he wrapped an arm around her waist. She stiffens in surprise, giving him a nasty side glance.

Her tense upper body relaxes from more contact. She feels like she's floating. She leaned into him without realizing it, her mind too fuzzy and content to care. She doesn't realize when she slowly drifts to sleep.

Jisung reflected on himself as he watched their exchange, he realized how similar the two were. They both had their hearts broken, they both sang well and made music, and they both seemed to have great chemistry. That's why, observing them, it feels as if they've known each other for years.

He was slightly envious.

And he wasn't sure of who...

They had all become drowsy and fell asleep in weird positions. When Jisung woke up she had already left, leaving a note on the bed asking them to not seek her out and to give her some space.

A hand slapped over his mouth as he realized he had just slept with a girl— literally. He sits down on his floor as he dwells in his shame, a second realization crosses over him.

His ankle had healed.

Then the third realization crosses over him: It was 3 AM.

He looked at Donghyuck who was deeply asleep and decided to leave him, quietly heading for the stairs. Much to his luck, she was on his porch. Her eyes widen as she quickly stands up, feeling as if she were caught stealing.

"I read your note," he sighs in relief as he holds up the sticky note, she looks down at her feet in sudden interest.

He looks hesitant as if he were fishing for the right words to say.

"I'm sorry about this, even we-er- we're not together, we're just soulmates... So you can have all the time you need." He rambles to ease whatever anxiety she is having. She doesn't say anything in return, giving a small appreciative nod.

Instead of his room, he guides her to a guest bedroom. It used to belong to his cousin who used to live with him, but that cousin moved away to study in America, and it's been 4 years since then.

In a few hours, she was gone. Mark had offered to pick her up and drop her off at home since he lived closest to Jisung.

When Donghyuck woke up he found Jisung sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag. He rolls his eyes at the sight and proceeds to head to his closet to steal some more clothes.

Seorin was stressed, and when she was stressed there was only one outlet: eating.

She found herself in the convenience store where she coincidentally ran into Jeno, at this point, she didn't care about judgment as she placed three bowls of instant noodles, a bag of chips, a custard bun, and five ice cream bars.

He quietly scanned her items. She walks away before he can make small talk and goes to prepare her food, choosing to sit outside she begins to eat her food without any guilt...like a pig.
