Fanstyia Chronicles Volume 1

Episode 8: The Seatopian Mountain!

It has been a while since Avialeena, Arbor, and Resa headed off from Bijneonda and they are back in the dark woods of WandaLond but not too deep. their current mission is to find out why these Orcies are attacking Fanstyia and how to stop them for good. As they get closer to Arbor's secret hideout, one question pops up in Avialeena's mind. she asks, "Arbor, You may have been hiding the story behind these vine-like markings, but I want to know why they are here. secrets can't last forever to be honest as they'll be shown eventually" Her curiosity had been there for centuries and over these said centuries, Arbor would not tell her or the others about the markings on his face as he is too scared to tell them. they stopped walking in the dark forests as Arbor finally sighed, His was about to explain the trauma he experienced centuries ago. 

"Alright..." he muttered. he had his head looking at the ground, he couldn't get the words out of his mind, the pressure got bigger and the urge was trying to take over him like a pandemic. Eventually, he started talking about some of his backstory 

"It was a very, very long time ago before I was in the Zodiac Pact," he started "These woods used to be no darkness and curses, I was mostly a happy dryad or something since I also have other emotions and there were those magical critters populating and things were normal. it was until The Order Project showed up and these critters..." he started to feel scared, Arbor started to see flashbacks of the trauma "...were e-either run off or killed. I-I also remember there w-was that witch called M-Maleficaria and she placed that curse on me. I tried to run off but she used her powers to bind me. Originally, she thought of killing me but since she realized I'm made of wood like other trees, Maleficaria instead cursed me with a spell I can't identify unfortunately. after all this... I've been acting like this ever since" Arbor explained. fear can be heard in his voice as the flashbacks continue to constantly show up in his mind. they get even darker and more disturbing very much that Arbor collapses onto his knees. the visions are too horrifying for him to see

"Arbor! please calm down!" fretted Avialeena as she looked at him in a worried matter "We still have time to save Chandran from The Order Project, Just think about hope and justice" Her words made Arbor start thinking about hope and justice, these words she just said, at first the humanoid dryad found it hard but after a while, the scary thoughts started to fade away in his mind like a deflating balloon. he eventually got back onto his legs but one of them was amputated which is hidden within his green-slightly-greyish boots that reach the knees. 

They started walking again and entered the base which was mostly covered in many shades of green leaves and sturdy dirt which does not get destroyed or all, no matter if it was raining or something heavy hit it, it would never get wrecked. the exterior also has a few fungi dangling out from each of the stems but they're not that scary, the fungi are quite fantasy-like with the traditional full red and spotty white dots. the outer base itself looks like a dome as the inside is underground. 

Inside the underground base's circular center is a triangular ground with all three corners touching the round walls. each point is below an archway so there are 3 archways. there are also some stairs present as it leads to the upper floor. fence-like metal can be seen on the edges which also has a few types of flowers wrapped around some of the bars. Resa and Arbor notice something isn't right here, it would normally be clean and beautiful but right now, it looks slightly wrecked and what caught their attention the most is a random piece of paper, how and when has it appeared on the floor? Arbor then turns his head and notices a symbol, a symbol of The Order Project, his base got vandalized "Should we read that note which is on the floor?" Resa asked as she stared at the 2 Zodiac Pact members. Arbor sighs and then interrupted Resa's staring by saying,
