A/N: So sorry it's been so long! I had an unexpected surgery on my wrist so writing has been a bit difficult!

Taylor was up bright and early with Carson as usual. It had been a bit of a rough night, but thankfully Travis had taken on the majority of the middle of the night feedings and had even taken her outside for a walk on the deck at one point when she wouldn't stop crying. She was surprised to see Kylie in the kitchen when she went downstairs to warm a bottle, but was grateful to be offered a steaming mug of coffee.

"Did she wake you?" Taylor asked sheepishly.

"No no! I was up already, Ellie has been waking up at the crack of dawn lately. We've been up for almost an hour, but I think she fell back asleep on the couch," Kylie replied.

Kylie offered to hold Carson while Taylor got her bottle ready, which Taylor gratefully accepted. Carson stared up at her aunt with her big blue eyes, curiously taking in her new surroundings. It was the calmest Kylie had seen her since they had arrived the day before.

"Want me to feed her so you can grab something to eat too?" Kylie offered.

"I don't mind, I'm used to multitasking by now," Taylor mumbled.

"Taylor? I know how hard it is to take care of yourself when you have a newborn. Been there done that," she laughed, "Take advantage of the help while you have it and at least drink your coffee while it's still hot."

Taylor handed over the bottle, smiling when she saw Carson start drinking right away without fussing. She sat at the island, slowly sipping her coffee and savoring each sip. It was rare that she got time to actually drink her coffee while it was hot ever since Carson was born. She usually took the early morning feedings and changings, since Travis did the majority of the middle of the night care, which meant that her own breakfast was usually an afterthought.

After finishing her coffee and muffin, Taylor made her way to the living room, finding Kylie sitting on the couch with Carson resting against her chest, quietly talking to her while Ellie slept next to them. Taylor felt her heart swell as she took in the sight. She took a seat on the other end of the couch, talking quietly with Kylie.

"I told the guys last night, but I was thinking we would head out around noon if that works for you," Kylie said.

"That should work perfectly," Taylor replied, "Carse usually goes down for a nap around 11:30 so that might make thinks a little easier for Trav."

"How are you feeling about leaving her for a few hours?" Kylie asked.

"I'm a nervous wreck," Taylor laughed, "I know she'll be fine but I've never left her before."

"I was a mess when I left Wyatt for the first time," Kylie sympathasized, "You'll have to ask Jason, but I'm pretty sure I cried for two days before we left her with my parents for an hour to go get dinner."

Before they knew it, the time had come for the girls to head out to the spa. Taylor had gone over everything Travis could possibly need to know to take care of Carson at least three times, not because she doubted his parenting skills or didn't think he could handle his own daughter for a few hours, but rather in an effort to put her own mind at ease. Travis reassured her that he had everything under control, promising to call her if anything changed.

Almost immediately after they arrived at the nearby day spa, Kylie and Taylor found themselves seated for pedicures while enjoying the fruit infused water they had been served. Taylor could feel herself relax into the chair as her feet soaked, enjoying the peaceful room and soft music.

"Oh my god I didn't realize how badly I need this," Taylor laughed.

"Getting out of the house for a few hours every now and then is the only way to stay sane," Kylie laughed, "Being a mom is great but it takes a lot out of you too."

Taylor's phone buzzed on the table next to them, alerting with a text from Travis. She quickly picked it up, anxiety filling her chest at the thought that something might be wrong. She immediately let out a sigh of relief when she realized he was just sending her a few pictures now that Carson was awake. She passed the phone to Kylie, showing her the picture of Wyatt reading a book to Carson.

"She was so excited when we told her you guys were coming," Kylie said, passing the phone back to Taylor, "She's so excited to be a big cousin."

"Thank you again for letting us stay with you this weekend. We'll have to find a time for you all to come visit us too. I'm sure the girls would love the children's museum," Taylor offered.

"Oh that would be awesome! The girls are always excited to get time with you guys. Did I ever send you the video of Ellie refusing to go to bed because she was too busy calling Uncle Travvy on her toy phone?" Kylie laughed.

"Trav showed it to me the other day. I couldn't believe how big she seemed!" Taylor said.

"I can't believe she's going to be five in a few weeks. Are you guys still planning to come down for her party?" Kylie asked.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world. It'll be nice to see the whole family too," Taylor said quietly.

"You okay, Tay?" Kylie asked gently, picking up on the slight change in her tone.

"Yeah, just a lot on my mind lately. Trav and I have been talking a lot about the future and what it'll look like for us. We're thinking about moving closer to you guys when he retires next year," Taylor mumbled.

"For real? I never thought Trav would move away from Kansas City," Kylie questioned.

"We're thinking we'd keep a place there still, but we want our home base to be around family. You guys are here, Ed is here, and my extended family is nearby too. And we want our kids to grow up around their cousins. So it just makes sense longterm to start looking for a place nearby," Taylor explained.

"Kids?" Kylie questioned, "You guys are planning to have more?"

"We've talked about it a lot," Taylor laughed, "We want at least one more if we can. We both grew up with a sibling so it just seems right. But who knows, it took us so long to have Carson that it may be too late now."

"Well we'd be thrilled to have you all living even a little closer. What are you guys thinking for timing?" Kylie asked.

"Travis thinks this is his last season. So probably this spring, like April or May if we can find a place," Taylor said.

"That would be perfect timing to be here when your new little niece or nephew gets here in June," Kylie said quietly.

"You're pregnant?" Taylor asked, her eyes growing wide.

"I just found out a few weeks ago. We haven't told anyone yet, but I told Jason he could tell Trav today if I could tell you," Kylie smiled, letting her hand drift to her barely noticeable bump.

The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing and sharing stories, laughing and enjoying one another's company. Kylie had her fair share of embarrassing stories about Travis, which Taylor thoroughly enjoyed. After a quick call home to their husbands to make sure everyone was still in one piece and the house hadn't burned down, they decided to grab a late lunch together to wrap up the day.

When they finally got home around six o'clock, Carson was napping again, tired out from a busy day with her cousins. Travis and Jason were on the couch with the rest of the girls, watching Frozen for the umpteenth time. Taylor couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the glittery play makeup all over her husband's face. It was clear they had gotten makeovers, Wyatt's latest specialty. She quickly pulled out her phone and snapped a picture before he could object.

Later that night, when all the girls were settled into bed, Taylor showed him the picture, getting his permission before uploading it to Instagram with a simple caption: #GirlDad.
