I wake up feeling so cold despite having a comforter wrapped around me.

"Ohh crap" I just remembered that my room heater stopped functioning last night but I was too sleepy to even bother getting it fixed

Well, I'll just go tell Brianne to fix it. I went to his room but found not even a single sign of him coming home last night.

"Huh hindi na naman siya umuwi" I mutter under my breath

So I got my phone out and dialled his number. It's been ringing for a couple of minutes but he didn't pick up.

What's with this guy?

I don't know if he's avoiding me or something, hindi niya sinasagot tawag ko which is unusual since he doesn't just ignore my calls without a reason.

Hmph! I'll just call a repairman to do the job.

In the meantime while waiting for the repairman to arrive, I went back to my room and did my morning skincare routine and took a bath as well.

Picked some knitted wool pants and a fitted shirt from my closet drawers then selected a jacket from the hanged clothes just by touching which one has a thick fabric.

Dahil nga nilalamig ako, tumungo muna ako ng kusina para magtimpla ng kape and to my surprise, nandito lang pala yung lalaking hinahanap ko kanina.

"Yoh" bati niya

And before pa ako makapagsalita, lumabas mula sa kitchen yung girlfriend niya. Wth?

"Ahmm Babe mainit na yung tubig" lumapit siya kay Brianne bago bumati sakin "Hi, Yumi"

"Hello" bati ko pabalik

However, dahil siguro malamig ang panahon kaya cold din ang atmosphere sa pagitan naming tatlo.

This is...new. He never brings his flings here, so I never really had to interact with them. Feels weird. I'm not sure pano ako gagalaw rn.

"Tara, timpla na tayo ng kape" aya ni Brianne, guessing na nandito din ako para magkape

"I'm good" I decline with a curt smile

I'm not distancing myself from them, it's just that I cannot explain why I feel uncomfortable around his girlfriend, maybe because I'm avoiding the chances of her getting jealous of me again.

Isa pa she's giving me some side-eye for who knows why but it's lowkey annoying. Tusukin ko kaya mata neto? I didn't ask her bf to dance with me, so bat parang kasalanan ko?

I find myself reaching for a bottled beer sa ref kahit na gusto ko sana ng mainit na inumin.

"Yumi, di ba may binili kayong cookies last time na nag-grocery?" Tanong sakin ni Brianne

"Last week pa kami nag-grocery, ubos na yun" I roll my eyes. Yan kasi hindi na naglalagi dito sa gang house kaya hindi na aware kung may stock pa ba ng hinahanap niya

I sighed "But I baked some the other day" I opened one of the hanging cabinets then handed him a jar of cookies

"Thanks" sabi niya before going back to his girl who's now making him coffee

Weird fact about Brianne, he doesn't drink coffee without pastries on the side. Nasanay na kasi siyang may isinasawsaw sa kape. Cookies and coffee might not be the best combo but it works for him.

"Puntahan pala namin si mom later, may papasabay ka ba?" Hirit ni Brianne. They're going to visit tita?

I glance at Alexa, realization dawning on me.
