I hate violence
But I still do karate
Which is a fighting sport.
A violent sport.
But I do it so that nobody
Tries to be violent with me.
Yet they still do...
I hate it when
I get assaulted for nothing.
"Calladita te ves más bonita"
But when i try to stay quiet
And I try to be pretty
The shit hits the fan
And apparently it's my fault
Even though I thought
he wanted me to shut up.
Even though I thought
He wanted me to be someone else's.
I could hit him back.
I could scream at him to shut him up
But I'm scared that the violence
would never stop.
And home would be no man's land.
And I would be at war once more.
