Miles shifted uncomfortably in his seat as he sat with his friends at the local diner. The conversation had taken an unexpected turn, veering into territory that made him uneasy.

"You're still with Gwen, right?" Eric asked, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Miles nodded cautiously, sensing where this was headed.

"Yeah, why?" he replied, trying to keep his tone nonchalant.

"Well, you know what they say about relationships, right? It's all about taking things to the next level," Eric said, a smirk playing on his lips.

Miles felt a knot form in his stomach as he realized where his friends were going with this. They were talking about sex—something he wasn't ready for, especially not with Gwen. He glanced around the table, hoping someone would change the subject, but the pressure only intensified.

"Yeah, man, you've been with her for a while now. It's time to seal the deal," Jason chimed in, his tone brash and confident.

Miles tried to laugh it off, but inside, he felt a wave of panic wash over him. He loved Gwen, but the idea of taking their relationship to that level felt daunting, especially with the added pressure from his friends.

Over the next few days, Miles couldn't shake the weight of his friends' words. Everywhere he turned, he felt like he was being bombarded with reminders of what he was supposed to do with Gwen. He began to feel insecure, questioning whether he was living up to some unspoken standard of masculinity.

In his desperation to fit in and prove himself to his friends, Miles started to change his behavior around Gwen. He became more aggressive, more forward, pushing boundaries that he knew he shouldn't. Gwen noticed the shift in his demeanor, and it made her uneasy.

"Is everything okay, Miles?" she asked one day, her brow furrowed in concern.

Miles shrugged, trying to brush off her question. "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"

But Gwen wasn't convinced. She could sense that something was off, that Miles was hiding something from her. And as much as she wanted to help him, she knew she couldn't force him to open up.

As the days passed, Miles's behavior only grew more erratic, until one day, Gwen couldn't take it anymore.

"Stop!" she exclaimed, pulling away from him as he tried to initiate yet another inappropriate gesture.

Miles froze, his eyes widening in shock at Gwen's sudden outburst.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice tinged with confusion.

Gwen shook her head, her eyes filled with a mixture of frustration and sadness.

"This isn't you, Miles. This isn't the person I fell in love with," she said, her voice cracking with emotion.

Miles felt a pang of guilt wash over him as he realized the extent to which he had let his friends' pressure influence his behavior. He had lost sight of who he was, of the values that mattered most to him—and he had risked losing the most important person in his life in the process.

As Gwen walked away, her footsteps echoing in the empty hallway, Miles knew that he had to make things right. He had to apologize to Gwen, to explain what had been going on and why he had acted the way he did. And most importantly, he had to find a way to rebuild the trust that he had shattered.

With a heavy heart, Miles set out to make amends, hoping that it wasn't too late to salvage what they had.

A/n:This is one of my favorite chapters 'cause this is sooo realistic, I see a lot of things like that happening, but I know that Miles would never be inappropriate or pushy against Gwen!!
