The hours passed in a complete agony for May, she was feeling like a zombie. She didn't even bother to eat so she was pretty weak. She had been thinking about possible ways of leaving the house, because it wasn't a home for her any longer. However, anything she'd try would fail because of her dad, he was everywhere.

There were only 12 hours left for May to leave her beloved region, Hoenn. She didn't want to say goodbye to everyone, but she needed to see them again.

She exited the house, looking for a quiet and lonesome place. Then, she called Archie.

*buzz* *buzz* "Yeah? Archie talking" Her face lit up when she heard the man.

"Archie, it's May. Can you do me a favor please?"

"Scamp! What a surprise" He sounded pretty happy through the device "How can I help you?"

"Ehmmm... I don't really know how this may sound, but I wanted to ask you if you could contact Maxie, my father took my pokemon away so I couldn't scape flying. And since I don't have his number, I thought you'd know where he is"

" ContactMaxie? For what if I may ask?" He sounded a bit jealous.

"I'm traveling in less than 12 hours and I wanted to say goodbye to him, that's all"

"And what about me, huh? No goodbye to the big Magikarp?" He said with a childish tone.

"You'll get your farewell too, but please, I need you to do this for me. Tell him to meet me at the exit of Littleroot Town, you can also come if you want" She said anxious.

"Alright, alright" He finally spoke "I'll visit my very best friend in the whole round world! I'll go personally to his lovely house to ask him for sugar!" He ironically said.

"I'll never be able to thank you for this, Archie. You're my guardian angel"

"Yeah, yeah, you better give me a good hug before you leave"

"Alright, now go!" She demanded.

"As the princess please"

It's been half an hour and no news at all, where the heck was Archie? She started to think of the possibilities of her father finding out her "farewell exit" and the results of it. She started to feel sick within moments.

Then, a sudden noise came from the outside. She peeked through her window only to find two grown-up men battling for hiding in the nearest bush. There they were.

She opened the window and walked through the roof. She stopped at the edge of it, looking down. There were about 5 meters of distance from the ground, too much risk for jumping.

"Archie!" She shouted-whispered "Archie! Come here!"

Archie got up from the ground and walked noiselessly to her. "What?"

"I'm gonna jump. You better catch me or else I'll kick you in that blue ass of yours" She said with a bit of fear in her tone.

"Really? I can do that myself" Maxie said behind Archie. He had his hands at the back, as always. He was looking at her with a funny grin. "You better trust me more than this simple fishead"

"Oh my Arceus. Don't start arguing now guys! We have better things to do, don't you think?"

"Yeah, sorry May, my fault" Archie said smiling and rising his arms up "Come here, I won't let you fall"
