Madison walked into school, all dressed in new clothes, ready for a new year, to be a new person and take on the world.

She looked around outside the school building and tried to take in what was in front of her.

A bunch of the popular girls hang around talking to each other. Susan Kimberly, another one of the popular girls at school, was wearing sunglasses, a white blouse, and ripped jeans. she was leaning against a light post, chewing a piece of gum, with earphones in her ears. Eva and Sarah standing next to each other, their diapered butts sort of visible (if you knew what you were looking for). They looked happy, like they were looking forward to a new year.

"Hey, Maddy" Susan sauntered up to her, popping a big bubble. "it's nice to see you back still in school. Since when do you wear long skirts? You'll cut your chances of getting the hot guys if they can't see your ass".

Madison started to blush. She was wearing a long skirt to cover up the pull-up she was wearing, just in case she got any leaks during the day.

"I'm not trying to get the guys. They want me regardless. it's Derek I want. y'know, the hot guy a couple of years up?"

Susan paused visibly for a second, like she wanted Derek as well, but let it pass.

"They'll get me no matter what I wear," Madison continued jauntily.

But inside she felt uneasy. She hoped none of the guys came up and grabbed her ass, or tried to peep up her skirt. Now that she was thinking about it, it probably wasn't the best idea to come back to this school. She had issues with having to wear diapers at night, and now she was wearing one during the day just in case.

Madison walked up the school steps, towards her classroom, trying not to draw any attention to herself, but she was always self-conscious about the pull-up she was wearing under her skirt.

Even though nobody knew, she couldn't get rid of the feeling that every girl she walked past was staring at her and thinking about how pathetic she was.

"...And that's why the cookie crumbles." Mr Donovon said. "Alright, that's the end of today's class. Don't forget to pair up with someone and go over the material tonight., as there is a test tom"

The final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, and Madison and Susan gathered their belongings as students filed out of the classroom.

Susan stood up quickly and walked over to Madison, who was also standing up and packing up.

"do you wanna do the paper together?" she asked, an annoyed look on her face, that she actually had to do some work.

Madison hesitated, glancing at the clock as if time might provide a solution. She wanted to say no, to keep the walls around her life intact, shielding Susan from the messy reality she was living. However, the words got caught in her throat, and she found herself nodding reluctantly. "Sure, Susan, that sounds good."

Susan beamed, unaware of the internal struggle within her friend. "Awesome! Your place? My house is undergoing renovations and we can't have visitors in the Airbnb we're at."

Madison bit her lip, a momentary flicker of discomfort crossing her face. "Um, sure, I guess".

As they walked out of the classroom and headed towards Madison's home, Madison couldn't shake the unease settling in her stomach. She wanted to maintain a facade of normalcy, shielding Susan from the chaos of her personal life. The thought of Susan discovering the harsh reality of her living situation and the secret of her bed-wetting issues made her nervous.

When Madison got off at an earlier spot than usual, Susan asked her about it. Madison said "We moved out of my house, my mom, my brother, and me. don't ask any questions. This is the situation, and that's that."

Susan was taken aback by Madison's abruptness, and something sparked inside her, but she ignored it.

Arriving at the house, she forced a smile. "Just a heads up, it's a bit small and messy. Oh, and me and my brother share a room, for now. "

Susan shrugged. "No problem. I'm just here to study."

Madison chuckled nervously, leading Susan into the small house. The moment the door swung open, a wave of discomfort washed over her. The shabby furniture, peeling wallpaper, and the general disarray of the house made Madison cringe internally.

"Wow, ummm, cozy place you got here," Susan commented, glancing around with curiosity. Mrs Stone sat on a slightly broken rocking chair, holding a cup of wine, and drinking it quietly.

Madison mumbled a response, ushering Susan toward her room.

Susan settled into a chair, pulling out her books. "So, what's on the agenda for today's study session?"

As Madison gathered her books, she hesitated. "Just the usual, I guess. Math and English."

Susan nodded, opened a bag of chips for herself, and set to studying

---

As the late-night study session at Madison's house extended into the early hours, Susan, realizing the inconvenience of heading home, cautiously approached Madison with a request.

"Madison, it's getting really late, and I live quite far. Do you mind if I crash here for the night?" Susan asked, her eyes reflecting a mix of fatigue and hope.

Madison, aware that she didn't have a spare room to offer, considered her options. "ye, I guess. You can crash on the couch in the living room," Madison replied, trying to sound casual.

As Susan settled into PJ's and onto the couch, Madison went into her own room, took her PJ's and towel and left the room.

She walked into the shower, turned it on, got undressed and cleaned herself off, in preparation for a night's sleep.

After she showered, she got out and dried herself off, then opened a small cabinet on the side, and took out a pink diaper. She opened it up and lay down on the floor on top of it, to put it on.

What she forgot was, to lock the door. She looked up as the door opened, to see Susan walking in, holding her phone, a look of confusion, shock, and mild disgust on her face.
