Days passed, and with each one, we grew closer. My feelings for Lisa intensified with each passing day. I couldn't ignore them any longer, but I knew it wasn't the right time to confess, not while she's going through such a difficult period. I've always been there for Lisa and her child, treating them as my own. I knew deep down that I loved Lisa for who she was, faults and all.

As the days went by, I found myself cherishing every moment spent with her, treasuring the laughter we shared and the quiet moments of understanding. Despite the turmoil in her life, she remained resilient, her strength inspiring me more with each passing day. I longed to tell her how I felt, to pour out my heart and lay bare my emotions, but I held back, knowing that now wasn't the time.

Instead, I continued to support her silently, offering a comforting presence and a listening ear whenever she needed it. And as we navigated through the challenges together, I couldn't help but hope that someday, when the time was right, I could finally confess my love for her. Until then, I would stand by her side, unwavering in my devotion and love.

"Noona, did you change Haru's diaper?" I asked while making the bed.

"Ahh, no. I forgot," Lisa realized her mistake.

She moved to get up, but Jungkook gently held her hand, pulling her back. "Noona, it's okay. I'll take care of it," he smiled, leading her to sit on the bed while he went to the other room to change the diaper.

As Jungkook disappeared into the other room, Lisa couldn't help but feel grateful for his constant support and care. Despite her own struggles, he always went out of his way to help, never once complaining or showing any signs of reluctance. It was moments like these that made her realize just how lucky she was to have him in her life.

Sitting on the bed, she watched as Jungkook returned with a smile, Haru happily cooing in his arms. The sight warmed her heart, filling her with a sense of comfort and contentment. With Jungkook by her side, she knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always overcome them together.

She still harbored a doubt in her heart. Lisa knew Jungkook was her trusted junior, but why did he go out of his way to help her so much? She hadn't done anything that significant for him, so why was he helping her, she wondered to herself.

As she pondered this question, Lisa couldn't shake off the feeling of gratitude mixed with uncertainty. Despite her own internal struggles, Jungkook's unwavering support and willingness to assist her never faltered. It puzzled her, leaving her wondering what could possibly motivate him to be so devoted to her and her child.

Lost in her thoughts, Lisa couldn't help but feel a sense of unease mingled with curiosity. She knew she needed to address this lingering doubt in her heart, but for now, she pushed it aside, focusing instead on the warmth of Jungkook's presence and the comfort he brought into their lives.

After a few days, Lisa found herself unable to contain her curiosity and her trust issues any longer, prompting her to confront Jungkook.

She sat him down on the sofa, leaving a small gap between them, a sign of the growing tension in her mind. Jungkook looked puzzled, unsure why Lisa had summoned him.

"Noona, what's wrong?" he asked, his expression tinged with concern as he glanced at her.

Lisa gazed at him softly before finally speaking. "Jeon," she said, her tone firm yet gentle, causing Jungkook to fall silent, taken aback by her serious demeanor.

"Jeon, why are you doing all of this? Why do you help me every day with everything?" she asked, her voice betraying a mix of confusion and curiosity.

"I mean, I haven't done anything particularly significant for you, so I can't help but wonder why you're always there for me and Haru," Lisa continued, her gaze searching Jungkook's eyes for an explanation.

Jungkook's expression softened as he listened to Lisa's words, understanding the weight of her questions. He took a moment to collect his thoughts before responding, his voice gentle yet resolute.

"Noona, it's because I care about you and Haru. You may not realize it, but you've done a lot for me without even realizing it," Jungkook explained, sincerity lacing his words.

"You've been there for me during some of my toughest moments, offering support and guidance when I needed it the most. You've shown me kindness and compassion, and I just want to repay that kindness in any way I can," he added, his eyes meeting Lisa's with unwavering sincerity.

"Seeing you and Haru happy brings me joy, and if I can help make your lives a little easier, then that's all the motivation I need," Jungkook concluded, a soft smile playing on his lips as he waited for Lisa's response.

"Jeon, are you sure that's it? Is that the only reason you're helping me, because I've been there for you during your hard times?" Lisa's voice wavered slightly, a strange feeling gnawing at her chest.

Jungkook's eyes widened for a moment before softening. He knew this was the moment he had to reveal the truth, the real reason behind his unwavering support for Lisa—the unrequited love he had harbored for her for years.

As he looked into Lisa's eyes, Jungkook took a deep breath, gathering the courage to finally express his feelings. He reached out to gently grasp her hand, his voice steady yet filled with emotion.

"Noona, there's something I need to tell you," he began, his heart pounding in his chest. "The truth is, I've been in love with you for years. You've always been the one who has lifted me up during my darkest moments, the one who has brought light into my life when everything seemed bleak."

"I help you not just because you've been there for me, but because I can't bear to see you struggle. I want to be by your side, supporting you and Haru, not out of obligation, but out of love," Jungkook confessed, his gaze never wavering from hers.

As his words hung in the air, Jungkook waited anxiously for Lisa's response, his heart racing with anticipation. He knew that revealing his feelings was a risk, but it was a risk he was willing to take for the chance to finally be honest with the woman he loved.
