Akshita's pov
I was sprawled on the bed trying to go back to my sleep but the cramps weren't allowing me. It's been two days since I got discharged from hospital and all I do is to sleep like a log all day and night. The heavy bleeding makes me annoyed.
Faint voices from downstairs could be heard. I got down from the bed slowly and strolled towards the source of noise.
"Mumma Papa apki wajah se maine Akshita ko shaadi ke liye manaya tha. Kya kaha tha ? Aditya bohot acha ladka hai Akshita ke liye acha rahega dekho voh kahan le aaya hume. Ek baar aap dono ka saath dekar galti kar chuka hun dubara nahi karunga. Meri behen bohot pyaari hai mujhe" Advik bhaiya's voice resonated in the living room, his voice mix of anger and grief.
(Mumma Papa because of you I convinced Akshita for marriage. What did you say ? Aditya is a very good guy and he is best for Akshita. Now see where he brought us today. I did the mistake once agreeing with you two not again. My sister is very precious to me)
"Hum maante hain Aditya ne acha nahi kia, par Akshita ke sasural wale toh ache hai na. Aise rishta nahi tod sakte hain" A vein pulsed in bhaiya's forehead while I wasn't surprised with my mother's word cus I was expecting this.
(We agree that Aditya did wrong but Akshita's in laws are good. We can't break the relationship like this)
"Main nahi janta kuch. Bas meri behen wahan nahi jayegi wapis aur Aditya pe toh main case karke rahunga" he sounded vaguely like a threat.
(I don't know anything. My sister will not go back there and I will file a case against Aditya)
"Advik main bhi samajhti hun Akshita ka dard Maa hoon main uske. Mujhe bhi narazgi hai jo bhi hua usse aur main Aditya ko maaf nhi kar rhi. Par----"
(Advik I understand Akshita's pain. I am her mother. I am also angry with whatever happened and I won't forgive Aditya for that but----)
"Par kuch nahi ab main decide karunga Akshita ko kya karne hai" bhaiya cut off her words and stormed to his room. I was tailing behing him but ceased when a familiar voice came.
(But nothing. now I will decide what Akshita will do)
"Akshita" I was embraced in a hug and didn't need rocket science to recognise the owner of this voice. My only sister.
"You are here di ?" My heart crumbled feeling her sympathetic gaze on me.
Everyone is giving sympathetic look.
This makes me miserable.
"How could I stop after listening to this news" Shivani di cried and I swallowed the tears threatening to spill on my cheeks.
"I am sorry" I shook my head at her apology and tears made it appearance .
"Stay strong" she murmured rubbing my back.
"Offo didi side please. See bhabhi what I bring for you" Ishan showed the Ferrero rocher pack to me with a smile which looked fake.
"Sorry beta. She can't have chocolates" Ishan's smile disappeared at Mumma's word.
"Doesn't matter. You can have it later" He added back with a smile on his face.
