OMNISCIENT

"On the count of voluntary manslaughter, how does the defendant plead?"

"Not guilty."

"And the state?"

"We believe the defendant had every bit of intention to murder the victim in cold blood.. Therefore we the people find the defendant guilty."

"What evidence proves that the defendant is good for the crime?"

"We have a witness who can prove motive and recount the defendant's exact steps that led up to the moment he committed this senseless act of violence."

"For bail?"

"We ask that the defendant be held without bail as it may intimidate the witness and harm the case if he is let out."

"The defendant is to be remanded to custody until the next court appearance."

"They didn't give him bond?" Jilly questioned Neliah who appeared at Milo's court date since she couldn't go due to a doctor's appointment for the baby.

"No. They said he would intimidate the witness." The two spoke over a facetime call.

"I bet." Jilly replied to imply something but Neliah didn't catch it.

"I wonder who it could be." Neliah played innocent but wasn't fooling Jilly a bit, although Jilly wasn't concrete that the witness was her— she wasn't going to let up on her speculation.

"Whoever it is— that bitch gone die if he have to do time and that's on Masami."

Jilly was sure of her threat, she was going to make sure whoever snitch would pay for it.

"Facts." Neliah nervously agreed.

"I gotta go though, talk to you later." Jilly replied before they both said their goodbyes's and end the call.

"That bitch is the witness, I know she is!" Jilly told Max soon as he answered her call.

"What bitch?"

"Neliah! She playing slow like I don't know wassup, we gotta do something to that bitch before Milo's next court date."

"I got an idea, just keep playing her close for now."

"Aight bet." They talked a bit more about it and then ended the call.

"I'm good. Shit been straight in here forreal forreal... I'm ready to go but I can't even complain cause it ain't too bad."

"When does trial start?" Jilly asked.

"Shit was pose to start in a few months but my lawyer pulled some shit off to get it to start in two weeks."
