The bell rings, signaling the start of the first class.

Felix takes his seat, stooping all the talk with his friends, still wearing Hyunjin's hoodie, which now feels like a comforting shield against the world, which is... Indeed, kinda weird for him

Seungmin, who was listening in on the conversation, can't help but glance at Felix with a mix of curiosity and something else he can't quite place.

Throughout the class, Felix finds it hard to concentrate.

His mind keeps drifting back to the earlier moment , the warmth of the hoodie, and the fleeting eye contact with Hyunjin.

He catches Seungmin stealing glances at him, adding to the distraction

After the class ends, Seungmin approaches Felix cautiously.

Ji: And then I saw they licke-

Se: Felix, can I talk to you for a moment?

Ji: .. it's not nice to interrupt...

Jisung let out a whisper but Felix reassured him with a smile, that everything is fine

Fe: Sure, what's up?

Se: About the hoodie. Is it Hyunjin's?

Felix raises an eyebrow, curious about Seungmin's sudden interest.

Fe: Yeah, why?

Se: No reason, just... 'surprised', I guess. Hyunjin doesn't usually lend his stuff to anyone.

Felix smirks, but even tho the memory of what he has to do reappeared, he plays it off

Fe: Well, I guess I'm a special case then.

Seungmin seems deep in thought, as if processing something beyond the conversation.

Ji: Um.. Hello?

Se: It's just, I've known Hyunjin for a while, and he's not exactly the type to show kindness openly

Felix roles his eyes and chuckles, maybe just pretending not to care

Fe: Maybe he's changing.

Seungmin looks at Felix, a thoughtful expression on his face

Se: Maybe. Anyway, just take care of it. Hyunjin values his things.

Fe: Yeah, nour problem

Ji: That was hello weird

IN: I'm agreeing with the squirrel

Ji: Ya!

The three of them, were in the hallway, walking to the cafeteria
And the rain outside worsened, such a beautiful day for our boy Lix

Ji: Earth to Liiix

Fe: ?? Hm?

IN: Finallyyyy, we thought we lost you

Felix chuckles

Fe: What happened?

Ji: We are at the cafeteria already and you said literally nothing

Fe: I don't see anything bad in that-

IN: We also called your name numerous times

Fe: Oh shut up. A bread and a quokka talking to me are not so interesting

Ji: You little -

Felix looks directly in Jisung's eyes making him stop talking then he laughed

Fe: Idiots

IN: What can we say?  We learned from the best

Ji: Good onee

And so this continued, of course, as they got something to eat and sat at a table

Se: Okay you really need to explain.

Seungmin says immediately as he comes by his friends, stopping their own conversation

Binnie: What? Baby you alright?

Se: Yes, I'm fine, but this guy right here

He says pointing at Hyunjin

Se: Has some explanations to give

Hyunjin just raised an eyebrow, come on people, can't y'all realise he's just trying to enjoy the rain?

Now everyone was interested so Chan decided to ask

Ch: Explaining what exactly?

Se: His hoodie

Mh: Ok. Talk already.

Se: He gave his hoodie to Felix, the blonde guy

...

Hy: He's not just blonde.

Ch: Norway! Don't tell me..

Binnie: You have a crush???

Hyunjin literally choked..on air

Hy: What? No! It's not like that.

Seungmin raises an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced, as he now is in Changbin's embrace

Se: Then why would you lend him your hoodie?

Hy: Pff. It was raining like you can still see, and he didn't have anything to change into. I didn't want him to catch a cold. Easy.

Chan and Minho exchange knowing glances, a silent understanding passing between them. Oh boy, this is funny

Ch: That's oddly considerate coming from you, Hyunjin.

Hyunjin rolls his eyes, attempting to maintain his cool demeanor, I mean, it is just a hoodie... His favourite hoodie but it's still a hoodie..

Would he give it to anyone else?
Probably not.
But, we'll have to wait a while until Hyunjin decides to accept what's happening to him

Hy: I can be considerate.

Mh: aha, you sure can

Of course they had to point out how and why this seems out of context, literally, hehe
Hyunjin sighs, feeling a mix of embarrassment and irritation

Hy: Can we drop this? It's just a hoodie.

Seungmin smirks, enjoying the rare opportunity to tease Hyunjin.

Se: A hoodie that you willingly gave away? Something's definitely up.

Minho laughs, finding the whole situation amusing.

Ch: Who knew our Hyunjin had a soft side?

Hy: I don't have a soft side!

Binnie: It's okay, Hyunjin. We won't judge you for being a bit soft.

Hyunjin shoots a glare at Changbin, who raises his hands in surrender.

Binnie: Just saying.

The classes are finally over and everyone is going to their house now, most of them having low energy because of the weather outside

As Hyunjin walks home from school, he finds Felix waiting by the entrance.

Fe: Hey. Mind if I walk with you?

Hyunjin raises an eyebrow, curious about Felix's sudden company but let's a small smile on his face

Hy: Sure, why not?
