Tessa's heart was heavy with a sense of emptiness after the necklace was taken away from her. She couldn't sleep since the moment he took it. Feeling restless, she took out her phone and quickly texted Billy, "he.. he took my necklace..". Her eyes were filled with tears as she hit the send button. Billy was quick to respond, "What do you mean he took it??". Tessa replied with a trembling voice, "he ripped it off my neck and put it inside a drawer...".

As she lay there waiting for a response from Billy, she turned to her side, clutching onto her pillow. Her heart was aching with pain and worry. "I'm trying to find you please stay calm," Billy replied, trying to reassure her. Tessa put the phone back under the pillow and tried to calm herself down. However, the ache in her heart continued to grow, and she couldn't help but feel helpless and alone in her silent room.

I shut my eyes tightly, trying to block out the thoughts that were racing through my mind. I couldn't help but think about Billy and my mom. The fact that I would never be able to lay eyes on my mother again filled me with a deep sense of sorrow. I missed her terribly and wished that I could just go back in time and hold her hand once more. As for Billy, I hoped with all my heart that he would be able to find me soon. I felt so alone and scared, and the thought of being reunited with Billy brought me some comfort.

Suddenly, I heard Vinny's footsteps approaching my room. "Tess, are you up?" he asked, his voice low and hesitant. I kept my eyes shut and tried to steady my breathing, hoping that he would just leave me alone. But he persisted, shaking me gently as he called my name. I clutched the blanket tightly to my chest, pretending to be fast asleep.

"Okay, fine. Stay asleep," Vinny said with a sigh as he turned to leave the room. I heard his footsteps fade away down the hallway, and I finally allowed myself to relax a little. Even though Vinny was supposed to be looking after me, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was only interested in what I could do for him. It was a lonely and unsettling feeling, but I knew that I had to be strong and keep my wits about me.

Vinny's pov

After I left Tessa's room, I couldn't help but feel a strong sense of unease. I confided in Ricky about it, telling him that something seemed off with Tessa. She appeared to have lost all motivation to do anything and had been confined to her bed for some time now. Ricky's expression turned grave as I mentioned this, and I could see the concern in his eyes.

Suddenly, Kody interjected with a smirk on his face, insinuating that something crazy had happened the night before. This only served to escalate the tension in the room. I noticed Ricky beginning to get more and more tense, his fists clenching at his sides. Whatever had happened, it was clear that it had affected Tessa deeply, and the situation was far from resolved.

Kody raised his voice and everyone gathered around him. "It had to be done!" he shouted, his eyes blazing with intensity. "Vinny, you saw how close Ricky and Tessa were getting. It had to be stopped!" he repeated for emphasis.

Chris's eyes widened in panic. "What did you do?!" he asked, his voice shaking with fear. "Billy is gonna beat our butts," he added, his tone filled with worry.

Kody looked around, confused. "What do you mean Billy is gonna beat our butts?" he asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.

I stepped forward, my frustration evident in my voice. "Dude, we were supposed to take her to visit him," I said, my tone harsh. "It had been planned for the past week, you knew this!" I spat, my anger simmering just below the surface.

Ricky's pov

"I'll go check on her. I still can't believe you did something so stupid! Oh wait, I'm forgetting you're Kody. You do stupid stuff!" I uttered in a mocking tone as I walked towards Tessa's room. I opened the door slowly, trying not to wake her up. Tessa was sound asleep, and I heaved a sigh of relief. While scanning the room, I noticed a phone lying near her hand. My curiosity got the best of me, and I reached out to grab it. As I scrolled through her messages, my eyes widened in anger and disbelief.
