LUCY

It's 7:00 am, and I'm in the kitchen making a bagel. I feel a warm pair of arms hugging me from behind. "Hey," Tim says, kissing me on the cheek before resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Hey." I smile. "Did you sleep okay?"

"I slept next to you, so I slept great."

"Oh, really?"

"Mmhm."

I finish spreading the butter on my bagel and turn around, leaning against the counter. I take a bite from my bagel, making sure to give Tim a seductive look as I do it.

"Damn, woman. How is it that you somehow find a way to make everything you do sexy?"

I just smile, grabbing his hand as I guide him towards the couch. When we get there, I push him down before clinging on top of him.

Straddling him, I begin to pepper his neck with kisses, whilst using my hand to stroke his hardened member.

"Ahh, fuck, Lucy. Do you have any idea what you do to me?"

I bite my lip and palm his cock. "Oh, I think I have some idea."

"That's all for you, baby."

"Damn right, it is," I whisper, working to unbuckle his belt.

"Are you sure Tamara won't hear?"

"Her door is closed and she told me that she is planning on sleeping in. We should be fine."

"Well, then, by all means," Tim says as he helps me finish unbuckling his belt. I toss it to the floor.

I am about to go for his jeans, but I am stopped when my vision briefly goes white, and I feel dizzy.

"Woah," Tim steadies me. "Are you okay?"

"What? Uh, yeah, I'm fine." I rub my temples. "Just a little dizzy."

"Any clue why?"

"I'm sure it's nothing. I am a little tired, so that's probably it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine," I say, standing up.

"If you're sure," Tim says as he rises to his feet. He gives me a soft kiss. "You have work today, right?"

I nod. "Yeah."

"How long is your shift supposed to be?"

"Like twelve hours, I think."

Tim's eyes widen. "Lucy, if you're feeling off, I don't think a 12-hour shift is a very good idea. Is there any way you could talk to Sergeant Grey, and maybe see if you can have a shorter shift? Or see if anyone would be willing to cover for you?"

I shake my head, making my way to the bedroom. Tim follows me. "No, with the whole Aaron situation, we're already stretched thin."

"But since Aaron is out, you don't have anyone to ride with."

I sigh, taking off my robe so I can get dressed. I begin changing into my uniform, starting with the pants. "Yeah, so?"

"So, you are feeling light-headed. If you absolutely insist on working today, a 12-hour shift no less, you should at the very least have someone with you, just in case."

I pull on my shirt, and then the top layer, working on the buttons as I look at him. "I'm telling you, Tim, I'm fine."

I reach for my badge on the nearby dresser, but stumble when I suddenly feel dizzy. Tim jumps to steady me. "No, you're not fine."
