One night I was looking for a movie to watch with Scott and Stiles later that night since it was my turn to pick. I was walking around the front of the store when I heard the bell ring signaling someone had entered. I turned and saw that it was Jackson
"Hey Jackson, let me guess Lydia sent you for the notebook?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow and a playful smirk on my face
"Yeah, do you think you can help me find it?" he said with a smile
"Yep, just follow me," I said and waved my hand in a come-on motion
When we were walking down the aisle I tripped on something when I looked down it was the body of the worker, When I got on my feet Jackson saw he backed into the ladder that was out and it hit a light and made it fall which caused all the lights to go out.
As we backed up we heard a low growl we then saw bright red eyes and continued to hear growls, Jackson had pulled me down with him behind a shelf when the thing bore its teeth. We were trying to control our breathing when the thing started knocking down movies and running down the aisle. All of a sudden I noticed that the shelves were coming down so I tried to push Jackson out of the way but unfortunately, his legs got caught under them while I was pinned from the stomach down.
The thing came closer and sat on the shelf causing my breath to hitch due to the added weight, it smelled my hair after checking the mark on Jackson's neck it then it ran through the window
"Are you okay?" Jackson and I asked at the same time
"Yeah let's get this thing off of us," Jackson said
Once we got the shelf off us we had to get checked out by the paramedics and questioned by the police which was making Jackson mad because he just wanted to go home which made me mad because he was being super rude.
When Papa Stilinski came over Jackson started to yell at him
"Jackson! why don't you come comfort your girlfriend instead of yelling at people" I yelled at him since I was in the ambulance comforting Lydia
He shook his head and moved Lydia over to his ambulance and Papa Stilinski came over to me
"Thank you, Ella, are you okay?" He asked me with a hand on my shoulder
"Yes, I'm fine just tired and want to go home," I said to which he nodded his head
He was about to say something but then Stiles popped out of nowhere and Shouted "Whoa! Is that a body?" Papa Stilinski shot him a look and made people back away as Stiles got back into his Crozer

The next day I was trying my best to get out of bed because even though it happened a couple of years ago it was still a hard day for me. See I loved my dad when he was alive I had him wrapped around my finger, He would do anything for me and vice versa I always tried my best to make him proud. Me and Stiles had bonded over their loss of a parent it's also one of the reasons my mom hated staying at the big house alone.
The only reason we still have the big house was that her grandparents bought it for them and wouldn't let them sell it even though they had another house and her parents wanted them to be modest. the only time I go there is to trade out my cars and if I'm having a movie night with either Scott, Stiles, or Lydia and Alison.
When I finally did get up and dressed I decided to go to Alison's house to give her her birthday gift since she told me she doesn't like people knowing her birthday. I knocked on the door and the person opened the door I was shocked to see my mom's old best friend Kate
"Hey, I just came to drop off Alison's gift," I said hoping she wouldn't recognize me since she and my mom had a mass falling out, it was really bad it was actually over my dad, see Kate had tried to get my dad to cheat on my mom with her but it didn't work.
"Yeah, I'll take it."She said taking the gift before doing a double-take" Ella is that you ?"
"Yes sorry do I know you?" I asked pretending I didn't remember her
"It's me Kate your mom's best friend." She said with a smile
"Oh yeah, sorry it's been a while."
"It has, how's your mom ?" She asked with a raised eyebrow
"My moms good," I responded
"That's good, what about your dad?"
"Well, he passed away a couple of years ago so..."
"Oh wow I had no idea, well tell your mom I'm sorry for her loss, and yours as well."
"Thank you and I better go," I said pointing behind me with my thumb

I had my head on my locker trying to calm down since the day was starting to get harder after my conversation with Kate. I felt a hand on my shoulder which caused me to jump
"Sorry, El I didn't mean to scare you," Scott said
"It's okay," I said with a small smile
"Are you okay, I know how hard this day can be and after last night ." He said putting a hand on my cheek
"Yeah, I just don't want to be here right now," I said pulling Scott into a hug and giving him a kiss
"Then, what if we get out of here?" He asked when we pulled away
"Seriously?" I asked
"Seriously," He said with a smile which caused me to jump on him and kiss him
"I love you so much right now," I said still wrapped around him
"I love you too, how bout we get out of here?" He asked me while I hopped down
"Let's." I said intertwining our hands together

When we made it to my car I turned to Scott
"Bubs can I drive?" I asked giving him my best puppy dog eyes
"If you want." He said opening my door for me
"Thank you," I said when he got into the car
"No problem babe now let's go."He said while tapping my dashboard
"Is the coast clear?" I asked looking around
"Yes" he responded and with that, we were off
As we were driving Stiles called Scott
"Like what?" Scott asked Stilles and he then got quiet waiting for a response "Okay I'll deal with it later. Left, left, left, left, left"
Has I made the left turn I put my arm in front of Scott so he wouldn't go flying forward.
"Sorry, sorry, I totally just soccer-mom'd you. I'm sorry," I said putting my hand back on the steering wheel
"That's all right. I'll just pick my masculinity on the way back." he said causing me to laugh
"Thank you, Scotty, for doing this." I said and quickly pecked his lips as we parked the car

We were walking and just enjoying nature when I decided to text Lydia to see how she was doing after I sent the text me and Scott decided to turn our phones off and be in the moment.
After hours in the woods, we made it back to my car where we realized it was time for the parent-teacher conferences and since Scott had below a C in most classes we sped over to the school. When we got there our moms were pissed that we had skipped and then a mountain lion showed up and Mr. Argent killed it and unfortunately, papa Stilinski got hurt.
