ino went straight for the guy, signalling you to try go for the old lady who was saying some sort of chant or prayer. you both attacked, but to your shock, you couldn't even lay a single finger on that granny,

'what the hell???'

he took all of your's and ino's blows like a champ, almost sacrificing himself for that lady,

"jeez, he's doing anything to protect her," ino spoke quietly,

"that old hag." is all you muttered, getting slightly agitated before running towards them again.

of course the exact same thing happened. you could not even get yourself anywhere near that lady.

you went back to ino, where he started rethinking his plans. suddenly the whole aura of the area changed,

"everything's set now.." the old lady spoke quietly,

"i got it, granny," the other guy smirked,

"i summon you, zenin toji," she muttered.

out of no where, the once weak curse user dude turned into something more. something stronger,

"how does it feel, grandson?"

"it feels great, granny," he smirked, his face slowly morphing. he was turning into a whole new person??

'what is this? necromancy? shape-shifting?' you couldn't tell how that exactly happened, though you knew it wasn't good.

once he had fully transformed he looked kind of familar, but you had no idea from where, 'a famous sorcerer maybe?... zenin toji.. i can't recall anyone with that name..'

ino acted quickly,

"number 4, ryu!" he called but the guy was so damn fast. he removed ino's mask and punched him square in the jaw,

'he's like maki. he's crazy fast and strong but i don't sense any cursed energy!'

you quickly ran after the sorcerer, as fast as you could, sending a kick to his back. he turned around, and looked at you amused. you were honestly shocked you got a hit on him in the first place you weren't thinking about what you should do next,

"you're fast.. but i'm faster" 'toji' smirked, grabbing your shirt, punching you senselessly and sending you into a wall. you felt your head throb and bleed as you helplessly watched ino try to fight him again. your nose was leaking with blood and you could taste the metallic flavour of it in your mouth.

"don't touch my underclassmen." he sent a punch to toji but he was simply grabbed by the collar and hit countless times.

all you did was watch as ino's blood splattered across the concrete.

toji had suddenly thrown him off the building. you gasped and tried finding the quickest way down to break his fall.

you yelled out for yuji and megumi to help, thank god they heard. you ran down to the ground floor and megumi summoned nue to try catch ino. when that failed, yuji caught ino himself. you panted, walking up to him.

you quietly let out a little cry looking at the state of ino,

'i did absolutely nothing.'
