you and yuji walked back to the group of megumi, panda, kirara and hakari. upon returning, you all got jumpscared by this flying thing.. it was really creepy and lowkey ugly,

"what the-!" yuji exclaimed, also a little shocked from the sudden interruption,

"a player has added a new rule to the culling game!" the weird flying thing stated,

"it speaks?!" you questioned,

"must be a kogane," megumi explained,

"rule 9! players shall have access to information on other players such as name, points, number of rules added and current colony," the kogane finished.

he just continued flying around as you all stood there in silence,

"guys, why is there a kogane here, none of us entered the culling game..? who's kogane is this?" you asked,

"i am the liason assigned to player itadori yuji!"

"HUHHH..???" yuji exclaimed in shock.

it was strange because he never entered a colony. so how on earth was he already assigned as a player?

after further discussion, even though you weren't completely sure, you guys believed that itadori was counted as a player already due to sukuna making a contract with kenjaku.

it was a little confusing but you didn't really mind for now since yuji wasn't in any immediate danger,

"kogane, show me players with over 100 points only," megumi asked,

"well, i am assigned to itadori yuji, so..." the kogane denied.

you let out a slight chuckled, which earned you a glare from the spiky-haired boy,

"oh, it's okay, you can do what fushiguro says," yuji smiled.

you all looked over at the player lost and saw two players with 100 points and over, hajime kashimo and hiromi higuruma.

the new course of action now, was to head into the barrier and target these two sorcerers.

you went with yuji and megumi to the colony that the two sourcerers were in. the two boys were able to handle kashimo and higuruma on their own, so you were just there for backup.

it's not a bad thing that you were just backup though. it simply gave you more time to rack up points to swap around. you weren't the type to be upset over the deaths of people you didn't know.

and of course, you didn't mind killing a few people if it was for the well-being of yuji.

"hi, i'm a kogane!" another kogane appeared, "inside this barrier, a lethal contest called the culling game has begun! are you willing to enter?"

"no problem," megumi said as you nodded.

once you all confirmed your participation, all that was left was for you to walk in. you took a step forward before megumi stopped you,

"wait. just remember that we first need to get information on higuruma, and try find him, okay?" he confirmed.

you looked at him a little confused and nodded,

"got it,"

you took one step into the barrier and you were in the air,

'holy shit! what the actual fuck... maybe this was why megumi was so adamant on confirming the plan.. it's because we get distributed to different locations..'

you took a harsh landing on a roof of a tall building,

"fuck me... this is honestly such a pain," you muttered to yourself,

"hey, you shouldn't use such vulgar words.." someone teased you from behind.

before you could even turn around, he sent a kick to your back,

"ow..." you groaned, "can you please leave me alone,"

you turned around to see a short, stubby guy. he reminded you of jogo and it really pissed you off,

"no can do, i need the points... and you seem weak," he smirked.

you slightly grimaced at his words, grabbing your katana,

"i'll show you weak, asshole.."

you charged towards him, sending a kick towards his face that he didn't even try to dodge, honestly. he just moved too slow.

he then punched you in the stomach which literally sent you flying and crashing through buildings??

'so his punches and kicks substitute for his terrible speed and agility.. okay, so all i gotta do is dodge,'

you got up, coughing up blood from the extensive damage to your stomach. you gave him slashes all along his body, leaving some gashes deep and pouring with blood.

he sent kicks and punches towards you too but you dodged pretty easily considering his speed, and how weak he had became,

"you just got lucky with that first hit," you taunted, seeing his state. you kicked him
too the ground, "so, what was that about me being weak?"

he didn't answer, he simply just looked towards the ground and clenched his fists,

"alright silent treatment it is. though i do have a question and if you answer... i won't kill you," you smiled bittersweetly,

"what is it.." he muttered,

"would you happen to know where higuruma is by chance,"

"n-no, i don't know," the sorcerer's lip quivered as he averted eye contact. he was so obviously lying,

"wrong answer," you smiled, holding your katana up threatingly,

"okay! wait! he's in shinjuku ikebukuro!! he resides in a theatre," he fretted.

"okay, thanks," you muttered, still holding your katana up to him,

"are you gonna put that down..? or not?" he said, irritated.

you gave him a short side-eye before slitting his throat,

"sorry, but no,"

your kogane then flew over to you,

"you now have 5 points!" it exclaimed,

"thanks.." you muttered before looking crouching down and groaning,

'i guess shinjuku ikebukuro is my next stop... i hope yuji and megumi are on their way already,'
