Daniel's POV

A week and a half had passed since Alana assigned me to investigate the case of the missing funds incident. I have not done anything necessary that would lead me to find the culprit who stole the money. I was too busy with my lectures and study sessions. Kailangan kong bumawi ngayong semester. That's why I've been burying myself with books and tiring my hands in writing notes while hoping and praying na sana makabawi ako ngayon at sa paraang ito maitatama ko ang mga pagkukulang ko bilang estudyante.

But yeah. Like I said, wala pa akong nagagawang plano para mahanap kung sino ang nagnakaw. But I have found a clue.

As far as I know, Alana entrusted the funds to Helena. Si Justine naman ang nagmamay-ari ng safe and he suggested doon itago ang funds para walang makakuha. I'm not even sure Theo knows the code of the safe, but the President? I'm not sure.

We were at the locker room and I approached him as soon as I saw him. "Chairwoman never trusted anyone from the committee with the funds considering their history."

"History?" nagtatakang tanong ko. "Anong history?"

"You didn't know? Napaka-mistrustful."

"Yeah, I get that," I mumbled.

"But is there another person you think who could've known the code?" I asked. "Since it's impossible for you to, you know, stole the funds since kayong dalawa ni Helena ang nakakaalam kung paano buksan ang safe." I exclaimed suspiciously.

"I'm not who you think you're suspecting, Daniel," he chuckled. "But no worries. I take no offense."

"And regarding your question, I don't think I know anyone other than Helena who knows the code," He said. "But...someone who could've been playing with the safe." He scratched his chin lighter as he mumbled suspiciously,

"Playing with the safe?"

"Yeah. I remember now. 'Yong mga baguhan na Juniors. I remember two months ago nahuli kong pinaglalaruan ng mga Juniors ang safe, trying to open it.

I felt my insides tickled with excitement and curiosity. "Ilan sila?"

They were even making a joke about it. If I remember correctly, 'yong dalawa pinagsasabihan silang tatlo na tigilan na paglaruan ang safe when I overheard them."

I nodded. So, the Juniors are the primary suspects for now.

Helena is sitting at the swivel chair while facing her laptop while Vanessa is beside her sitting at the table with her legs crossed. Vanessa eyed me sharply before raising her brows at me.
