Chpt. 8: Cupid's Cheerleaders

As Lucifer walked away, Angel looked around and said, 'Ok guys you can come out now,' Y/n turned towards Charlie and Vaggie, who were both coming out from one of the rooms they were hiding in, looking at her with curious expressions.

She could feel her cheeks burning, knowing that they probably knew exactly what was happening between her and Lucifer.

'Okay, spill it. What's going on between you and dad?' Charlie asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Y/n blushed even more, but she couldn't bring herself to deny it any longer. She took a deep breath and decided to come clean.

'I-I...I have feelings for him. And I think he might feel the same way,' she admitted, a small smile playing on her lips.

'Well, it's about time! We've been waiting for this to happen,' Vaggie exclaimed, pulling Y/n into a hug.

'Yeah, we always knew there was something between you two. We're so happy for you,' Charlie added, giving her a hug as well.

'Gotta admit toots, you did good with Mr. Short stuff.'

'Oh but Angel you lied to him..... there's no meeting.'

'Oops....imagine his face when he realizes there isn't any, that'll be hilarious. Guys you should have seen his face with he heard that you were calling him, he didn't wanna leave her.'

'Aw that's so cute,' Charlie cooed while Vaggie giggled.

'You totally should make a move babe cuz it ain't looking like Mr. Short Stuff is going to' Angel pointed out.

'Y/n you should. Dad hasn't been happy or felt like this for someone for a while now....so he may be reluctant and a bit shy to make a move first.'

'You both already like each other so just give him a push and he'll come through,' Vaggie added.

Y/n couldn't help but smile, feeling grateful to have such amazing friends. She knew that they would always be there for her no matter what, and that made her heart feel full. 'Thanks guys. Thanks for your support,' she said.

Soon, the three of them were wrapped in a group hug, laughing and chatting as well as teasing Y/n about her interactions with Lucifer. Y/n couldn't imagine her life without these wonderful people by her side, and she was excited to see where her relationship with Lucifer would take her.

As they continued to talk and plan for their next move to get Y/n and Lucifer together, Y/n couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected turn of events. Who would have thought that she, a sinner thrown into Hell, would end up falling for the Devil himself? But as she thought about her upcoming private lesson with Lucifer, she couldn't help but feel excited for what the future held for them.
