Chpt. 12: Heartfelt Confessions

As they waited for the breakfast to be ready, they engaged in playful banter, teasing each other about their encounter last night. Y/n couldn't help but blush at the memories, knowing that just hours ago, she was his photography teacher and he was her student, but now they were something much more intimate.

Once breakfast was ready, Lucifer turned off the stove and walked up to Y/n, standing in between her legs and looking into her eyes. She could feel the intensity of his gaze and her heart started racing.

He took a deep breath and confessed, 'Y/n, I know this may seem sudden, but I have to tell you. Ever since you stepped into my hotel and until now as you became my photography teacher, I couldn't take my eyes off you. And last night, when you agreed to stay here with me, I couldn't believe my luck.

I just had to have you, and I'm sorry if it seemed like I was taking advantage of you. But I want you to know, I have never felt this way about anyone for quite a while. What I am trying to say is that I really like you Y/n and even after all that happened last night, I just wanted to know if you perhaps felt the same way.'

Y/n's heart swelled with emotions as she listened to his heartfelt confession. She couldn't deny her feelings for him either,

'Lucifer, I have to confess, since I came here at the hotel, I couldn't help but felt drawn to you and getting to know you has made me fall harder day by day. And last night, it just felt right. I have never felt this way before either. But I do want to clarify, what happened last night was not just a one-night stand to me, it was something much more and I really like you too Lucifer....a lot.'

Lucifer's eyes softened with relief and he embraced her, kissing her passionately and full of love. Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, melting into the kiss. She could feel his love and sincerity through the kiss and she knew that she was exactly where she belonged.

They eventually broke apart, reluctantly, as they remembered the delicious breakfast that was waiting for them. Y/n helped Lucifer plate the food and they both sat down at the dining table to eat the delicious food he had prepared.

Lucifer watched Y/n take a bite and waited anxiously for her reaction, 'So, how does it taste?'

Y/n's eyes widened in surprise as she savored the flavors, 'It's amazing! I never knew you were such a great cook.'

Lucifer smirked, 'Well, I have many talents.'

Y/n playfully rolled her eyes and they both laughed. Y/n suggested that he should teach her sometime to make such delicious food which made Lucifer laugh, 'Just say the word dear and I'll make it happen.' They continued to enjoy their breakfast, stealing glances and sneaking in kisses between bites.

As they finished, Lucifer looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes, 'So, Miss Y/n, do I get another private lesson in photography soon?'

Y/n chuckled, 'Only if you behave like a good student.'

Lucifer raised his eyebrows, 'I always behave, it's the naughty teacher I have to worry about.'

Y/n playfully slapped his arm, as he embraced her in a hug from behind placing a kiss on her cheek when they got up to clear the table. Their banter continued as they cleaned up the dishes and got ready for the day.
