"Woah."

The view from the edge of the sheer cliff was breathtaking.

"This is incredible. It's like I can't even catch my breath."

The altitude was dizzying.

Whooooooo.

The wind tousled her hair.

If you had a fear of heights, you'd probably avoid looking down altogether and might find yourself on the verge of tears from sheer exhaustion.

"If I were to fall, they wouldn't find my body."

Erica peered ahead.

The vista stretched wide and expansive.

She could take in all of Lugis.

It was a grand spectacle.

A marvel of nature that begged her to linger and witness both sunrise and sunset.

Views like this were scarce elsewhere in the world.

"Wasn't this range once colossal in ancient times?"

The terrain remained uniquely distinct.

The cliffs, jutting like stumpy spires, were truly peculiar.

They varied in shape and size, but the sheer altitude sent shivers down her spine.

It seemed as though the Creator had grown weary and shattered the colossal mountain ranges with a mere flick of his hand.

Upon reflection, Erica found herself enamored with the unconventional terrain of Lugis.

However, if there was one thing she disliked, it was the scent of monsters.

"Kkieeeek-!!"

Whoosh-!

A wyvern darted overhead.

"Phew, that was a close call."

A shiver ran down her spine.

She was on the verge of being swept away by the breathtaking scenery.

Hastily, Erica retrieved the bow from her back.

She raised the brim of her robe and wiped the bowstring with a rag a few times.

As she worked, the hem of her robe stretched, revealing her toned abs, though there was no one nearby to witness.

After giving her bow a quick, old-fashioned tune-up, she secured her quiver to her back and prepared to move.

"Thirty arrows."

Wyvern commissions typically paid by the day, with no bonus for each wyvern slain, but Erica had set a personal goal for herself.

Thirty arrows, each meant for a single shot, a single kill!

'If any of them miss, I go hungry tonight.'

She had made herself this harsh promise, for the thrill it brought!

Erica scanned the sky with steely determination.

Countless wyverns flapped their wings as they soared by.

'There they are!'

With her target in sight, Erica dashed forward.

Tadadat- she sprinted with determination.

With a calculated leap, she launched herself off the edge of the cliff.

Whiz- She soared through the air.
