• Legolas's life lesson [2/2] •

When they finally arrived at Rivendell, a couple of elves were here and saw the young Legolas laying unconsiously in Glorfindel arms

They were shocked and scared for the young prince and were wondering what happened to Legolas

"Elladan go find your adar, tell him that i'm taking Legolas to the healing wing" Said Glorfindel

"Alright i'm going" replied Elladan and started to run to their father office

"Wait i'm comming with you!" Said the young Arwen folowing her brother

Elladan and Arwen ran to their father office and suddenly pushed the door and entered

Elrond was doing some paperworks when he saw them enter

"What are you two doing here?" Asked Elrond confused

"We need you ada!, Legolas need you!" Screamed Elladan

"What happen???" Elrond said, leaving his paperworks behind, worried about Legolas's condition

"We thing he probably fall off his horse and now he doesn't woke up, he's uncounsious ada..."

"Where is he?" Asked Elrond

"Glorfindel is carrying him to the healing wing right now, he asked me to come warn you" replied Elladan

"Hannon-le, ion-nin"

Elrond came to the healing wing faster than them cause his office was closer

Arwen and Elladan were siting together on some chairs in the corner of the room

Then Elrohir oppened the door, followed by Glorfindel who still carried the young elf in his arms

Elrond approached Glorfindel and looked at Legolas and moved some of his hair who were covering his face

"Lay him here on the bed, but slowly be carefully please" said Elrond pointing the bed in the room

Glorfindel did as he was asked and carefully layed Legolas on the bed

"His he going to be okay Ada?" Asked the young Arwen worried about her friend

"He will be Arwen, do not worry" replied Elrond to reasure his little Arwen

"I will stay with him and take care of him till he woke up, for now on you can all leave the room please" said Elrond

"I will tell you when he will be awake do not tell anything to Thranduil for the moment"

Then they all leaved the room, to leave Elrond take care of Legolas

Elrond took care of him and put on a cast on Legolas's wrist, cause it was broken

After a few minutes Legolas woke up slowly and looked at Elrond at his side

"You're awake, finally" said Elrond gladly

"How are you feeling Legolas?"

"My wrist hurt...otherwise i'm okay"

"Yes penneth i know it hurt, you've a broken wrist that is why it hurt you, but don't worry in a couple of days it will be healed" said Elrond

"Hannon-le" replied Legolas and smiled at him

Thranduil who heard the news about his dear son, from other elves ran to the healing wing to find his young elf

When he enter in the room, he was thankful to see Legolas awake

"Mellon? Why are you here?" asked Elrond looking at Thranduil

"To see my son of course, what question is that?" Replied Thranduil approching Legolas

"Of course, escuse me for the question" said Elrond letting the place beside Legolas to Thranduil

"Ion-nin, i've heard that you were uncounsious, are you okay?" Asked Thranduil to Legolas

"I'm fine Ada don't worry"

"Can i asked you what happen Legolas?"

Legolas then told him about the competition, and how much upset he was to don't have that much good skill in sword fighting, that he got really mad at himself for loosing, and he tell him about the run with his horse on the forest and how the last thing he saw was when he fall off the horse, to then waking up here

"Thank you Ion-nin for teeling me what happen"

"you know that okay to lose, you're still really young and you'll still have things to learn, it's normal to not be so good at everything, all the time" Said Thranduil

"You know Elladan and Elrohir are less good at speedness for example, but they are working on it every day to improve their skills, everybody have weakness Legolas" said Elrond

"Legolas, next time do not let your emotions take the control of your actions, this could have been so much worse, it was really dangerous to go riding your horse like that alone" Said Thranduil kindly

"You're right, i'm really sorry about that, i know it was dangerous forgive me" replied Legolas

"That okay, i forgive you, i'm just glad you're well now ion-nin" replied Thranduil

"Well he did broke his right wrist, so for a couple of days no more arrows shooting or sword fighting till it healed" said Elrond to Thranduil

Legolas was quite annoyed by that news, "No more arrows shooting? For days?" He thought a bit upset

"Legolas that is for your own good" said Thranduil when he notice that Legolas was not happy about that

"I'm sorry Legolas, but that the only solution for it to heal correctly" said Elrond

"I know..." respond Legolas

After that Elrond went to search for his sons and daughter who were siting on a bench in the garden together, Glorfindel was near by, waiting for some news about Legolas too

"There you are, i was searching you" said Elrond

"How is he" suddenly asked Glorfindel

"He's well, he woke up and he feel good"
Replied Elrond

"But, he broke his wrist so i will asked you to ne carefull around him"

"Can we see him now?" Asked Elrohir

"Yes you can if you want, Thranduil is there in the room too but you can come to see him don't worry"

Then the Twins and Arwen followed their father to the room where Legolas was with his father

Glorfindel followed behind

When they all enter the room Glorfindel stood beside Thranduil

"I've heard you are the one who carried my son back to Rivendell?" Said Thranduil looking at Glorfindel

"Yes i did"

"Hannon-le" said Thranduil putting his hand on Glorfindel's shoulder

"You're welcome" said Glorofindel smiling at him

Then the twins, Arwen and Legolas were chatting together happily

Glorfindel decided to leave the room when he see that Legolas was well now

After a couple of days Legolas could finally took off the cast from his wrist and he could now start to train again

he was glad it was over, he could'nt stand any other days without shooting some arrows in the forest or training

He was happy when he see that his wirst was now completly healed like Elrond had say

He will remember what his father and Lord Elrond had say and will now train more on the sword fight too, which was one of his weakness point

He also learned to ask for help when he needed for his training, and he remembered that, that was okay to ask for help sometime
