• Legolas's fear [1/2] •

One day in the woodland realm, Thranduil was looking at the windows in his room

It was really a pretty sunny day that day

Then Thranduil decided to go search Legolas to proposed him something

"Legolas? Where are you?" Thranduil called when he didn't find his son in his room

"I'm here!" Said the young elf appearing behind his father

"Where were you?" Asked Thranduil looking at Legolas

"Oh! I was just in the kitchen eating breakfast" Replied Legolas

"Oh okay, Legolas would you want to go on a ballads in the forest with me today? It's really sunny outside today and i don't have work to do, so i wanted to proposed you that"

"What do you think?" Said Thranduil kindly

"I would love to ada! When are we going?" Asked Legolas

"Let me get ready and you too and we will grab something to eat there for lunch and then we could go" Replied Thranduil

"Alright! I'll get ready!" Said Legolas happily going to his room

After a few minutes Thranduil found Legolas already packing dome food to eat for lunch for his father and him in a bag

"Do you need help Ion-nin?" Asked Thranduil

"Yes please, can you just give me two apples please" Said Legolas pointing at the apples while he was filling some bottle with fresh water

Once they had everything they needed they leaved the kingdom together and Legolas was really happy to go in the forest with his father today

When they arrived at a good spot in the forest, they sat down and looked at the beautiful trees around them and the beautiful sun shining trought the trees's leaves

"Ada? Can i go see the bunnys?" Asked Legolas who saw a little bunny family

"You can, but be careful, do not approach them too much or you'll scared them" Replied Thranduil laying down on the grass to take a bit of rest

Then Legolas approached the bunnys slowly and waved at them

"Aww you're all so cute!" Said Legolas siting down on the grass

When suddenly one of the little bunny came to him slowly and lay on his lap

Legolas didn't move at all to don't scared the bunny like is father had warned him

Then Legolas slowly approach his hand to the little baby bunny laying on his lap and kindly caresed him

When the little bunny fall asleep, Legolas carefully and slowly took the little one in his hands and put him back with his family

"Sleep well little one! You're adorable"

At the same moment Thranduil called Legolas to eat their lunch they had prepared earlier

"See you later little bunnys!" Said Legolas leaving the little bunnys alone, to join his father

Thranduil and Legolas then started to eat their lunch together and shared some little stories and talk together

When they were finished Thranduil started to walk around a bit in the forest and Legolas did the same but not in the same direction of his father

At a moment Thranduil saw that the clouds started to get greiyer and it was not a good sign

So Thranduil decided to walk back to where they were before to tell Legolas that it was time to go home before any strom or rain came to them

But suddenly he heard a strong thunder and he started raining pretty heavely already

When Legolas also heard the strong thunder sound he got scared

And he started panic when the heavy rain came and more strong tunders came

Legolas was alone, he didn't see his father anywhere

Legolas always had a strong fear of storm since he was a little elfing

But with time he started to control it more even if it still scared him a bit when the storm was strong and he knew he was safe when he was inside and not alone...

But now all this fear came back and it was overwelming him

He fall down in fear cause of one tunder and layed on the floor, curling up on himself, covering his ears and he was closing his eyes as much as he could

At that moment Thranduil was calling his name but Legolas could'nt hear him at all, his hearbeat was now way too fast cause of the panic and he was shaking a lot in complete fear

When Thranduil finnally saw the young elf, curling up on himself laying on the ground and covering his ears and he was also closing his eyes

Thranduil understood the extreme panic state Legolas was in when he notice his strong shaking and heard him crying too

Thranduil ran to his son and put him on his arms and hold him tightly

At that moment Legolas finnally oppened his eyes and stopped covering his ears

"Ion-nin! I'm here, i'll protected you okay!" Said Thranduil hugging his son tightly

Thranduil understood that Legolas was totally unable to move cause his panic was too strong, so Thranduil lift up Legolas and carried him and ran as fast as he could to the kingdom

When they arrived inside, Thranduil put gently Legolas on the couch

The guards then gived some towels for the King and the prince who were all wet

Thranduil covered Legolas and try to calm him down put Legolas was still shaking a lot and his heartbeat was still too fast

"Ion-nin... i'm here, you're not alone... you're safe here" Said Tranduil

But Legolas didn't respond at all

After a few long minutes of Thranduil hugging Legolas tightly, Legolas finnally start to calm down cause the storm had stopped

"Are you okay Legolas?" Asked Thranduil

"I'm scared..." Replied Legolas with a small voice

"It's okay, nothing is gonna happen to you, i promise"

After a few minutes Legolas took a bath and Thranduil too after his son

Then Thranduil and Legolas were siting on the couch together, when suddenly they heard a strong noice from outside

Legolas flinch and grabbed his father arm tightly

"It's okay Ion-nin, i'm here" Said Tranduil putting his arm around Legolas to reseasured him

"Ada, please stay with me till the strom is over, i'm scared..." Said Legolas hugging his father

"I'm not going anywhere, i will always be there with you my little leaf"

After the strom was over, father and son eat dinner together peacefuly and Legolas wasn't scared anymore cause the strom was over now

And Legolas knew he had his father with him to protected him no matter what
