I open my eyes to a silent room, not feeling Celestia in my arms as usual

Rising from my cosy bed, I stretch out my arms and make my way down the stairs

I open the kitchen door seeing Celestia playing with the grey kitten that intruded on my home last night

She turns her head hearing the creek of the door and looks up at me with a bright smile as the kitten purrs

I walk over and sit next to where she is on the floor

"I think you should keep her"

"What if someone is looking for her, princess?"

"Then they can get a new cat because this one is ours now" she kisses the kittens head as I chuckle

"Fine"

She swings her head to mine "really?"

I nod "if you really want her, and if it means you'll come over more"

She laughs and swings her legs over my lap before throwing her arms around my neck as she hugs me

"Thank you thank you!"

I chuckle and kiss the side of her head

"Lets go shopping"

She squeals and jumps up before running upstairs as I laugh at her

We both change, Celestia into a black maxi dress and me into my usual suit

She ties her hair into a messy but somehow still put-together bun before adding her makeup and putting her shoes on

Celestia picks up the kitten and we make our way to my car

"What should we name her?" I ask 5 minutes into the drive

She hums as she thinks "what about Misty?"

"Misty" I coo "it's perfect"

She smiles at me before playing with Misty

We reach the pet store and walk in, grabbing a shopping cart

Celestia puts Misty in the baby seat at the front of the cart as we walk through the isles

My girl picks up every single thing this little kitten could possibly need

"Look how cute" she shows me a cat bed that's literally nicer than my own
