A Glimpse of Necessity (Elite Rendezvous Arc)

[Ch 2, Act 12] Under dog.

As the two walk around the city of Ryoria, heading to the gate, Inzagi immediately remembers the three ladies, thinking that he should buy them some souvenirs

"Lady Rizette, is there a souvenir shop around this city?" - Inzagi asked as Rizette smiled

"Ah, I was wondering if you would buy Sumiko a gift. Yeah, it's right around here, come on." - Rizette said as the two headed to a nearby shop

"So, why are you in this city, lady Rizette? Are you alone?" - Inzagi asked as they walked

"Nope, I'm with Ruru and Haruna. Sir Rupert and General Ryo are here too, since they kind of own the land. But, they're too busy to deal with us, anyway." - Rizette answered

"Oh? Where are they?" - Inzagi replied

"Well, they're in a hotel, I guess... I don't really know, they just told me that they'd be resting, after we split up." - Rizette answered as the two continued to walk

"So, you gonna tell me something about you and Sumiko?" - Rizette smiled at Inzagi

"A-Ah, Sumiko... Well, I promised to hug her when I get back home. She got pretty excited, and the worry in her eyes disappeared. So, that's pretty sweet." - Inzagi answered as Rizette replied

"So she said~ she's been calling me all day yesterday, screeching about what you said. You two are perfect, despite the power gap" - Rizette chuckled

"You two can call each other?" - Inzagi was surprised, forgetting that that kind of technology existed

"Yeah, of course, don't you have a neuro communicator?" - Rizette smiles as she raises her eyebrow

"N-No, I've never heard of one. I have a phone, but there's no signal around the kingdoms.." - Inzagi answered as Rizette chuckled

"Yeah, that's why we have neuro transmitters. Here, use mine." - Rizette takes her earpiece out and hands it to Inzagi

"Don't worry, my ear is clean." - Rizette chuckled as Inzagi took the earpiece

"So, how does this work?" - Inzagi asked

"Well, you put on the earpiece inside your ear, and let it do the work." - Rizette answered as Inzagi inserted the earpiece into his ear.

"You wanna call Sumiko?" - Rizette asked as Inzagi shakes his head

"Nope, I want to surprise her." - Inzagi smiled as the two finally arrived at the store

"Fair enough. Well, here we are. I might as well buy something for the girls, too." - Rizette smiled as she looked around the store.

Inzagi looks around the store but doesn't see anything particularly special that Sumiko would deeply love. Since, most of the stuff was mini replicas of the main colosseum or the entire city.

"Hello, sir, may I be of assistance?" - A store employee asked

"Ah, yeah, do you have anything that has the color blue and orange on it?" - Inzagi asked, as he smiled

"Ah, yeah! Come to the jewelry area! We have necklaces of the tears of the great Sapphire... As for the orange, we have... The presence of the tyrannical Jasper!" - The employee said, as they headed to the jewelry area

"The best part is, these necklaces contain a magnet and are seen as incomplete. Meaning, any of these jewelry can be stuck onto each other. Great for people you love!" - The employee implied as Inzagi smiled, taking a nice look at the necklaces.

"I'll take them! The orange and the blue! As for Lady Hecate and Lady Syu..." - Inzagi contemplated as Rizette peeked at them

"Psst, Inzagi, I'll take care of Hecate and Syu. Giving two of them gifts loses the specialty of your gift for Sumiko." - Rizette chuckles as Inzagi nods
