Sophia p.o.v.
After the cafe i left the girls with jade and Carla before I made my way to the office. Not long after I sat down and started getting paper work done my office door barged open with a smiling Kyle and an amused Jax.
"I heard you marked our lunas." Kyle said with a big grin.
I raised an eyebrow but nodded my head.
"Congratualtions." Jax said while Kyle was practically squeaking in happiness. Where he gets his energy from i do not know. I swear he should have been a girl.
"How did you know?" I questioned.
Kyle chuckled as did Jax.
"The girls mind linked us telling us." He said with a chuckle on about hid mate as well as jax mate.
I chuckled but nodded. I felt into the bond and I could feel the happiness coming off the twins making me smile more.
"I want to speak about the rogue." I stated making Jax nod and Kyle fraon.
"Way to ruin the mood Sophia." Kyle grumbled probably because I randomly changed the subject.
Jax smacked him over back of head making Kyle yelp.
I chuckled at their childishness before getting back serious.
"Has ryder been to see him ?" I asked.
Jax shook his head in no.
I was surprised as its really hard to stay away from your mate for that long. I frowned.
"How ?" I more questioned myself then them.
"Has anyone checked up on ryder?" I asked actually feeling concerned.
They frowned but shook their head in no make me feel angry but not at them at myself. Clearly I was to worked up on my own mates I have started to let go off making sure everyone in my pack is okay.
I sighed but nodded.
"I will go and checked up on him soon." I said more to myself.
Before we could say anything else my phone rang making my head snap over to it. I frowned before groaning looking at who it was ringing.
I sighed and answered.
"Hello Alpha Hunter." I grumbled.
"Hello Alpha Sophia. How are the twins." He asked bluntly.
"Fine." I said.
He hummed.
"I take it you marked them." He more stated then asked.
I hummed this time. I guess he felt the pack bond snap.
"Is there something else you needed Alpha Hunter." I asked.
To a lot of people they would think we are being rude to each other but this is just how Alphas talk unless of course you are close to them. Which i am not close to any Alphas.
"My mate would like to see the girls as would her family." He stated.
I could feel my whole body tense up. I know he is more warning me that the witches will also be seeing them and visiting them.
"When." I asked gritting my teeth.
"Tomorrow." He said.
"I will inform my mates." I said after a while of silence.
He let out a hum before he said one more thing.
"If you do not mind they are hoping to stay the night at your pack. Their parents especially have missed them." Alpha hunter stated making a low growl rumble from my chest. I know he heard it but before I could reply to even say yes or no he ended the call making a snarl escape my lips.
I could see Jax and Kyle looking at me in understanding clearly they heard the conversation. I took a deep breathe to calm myself down.
It wasn't helping so I stood up and barged out my office before going for a run in my wolf form. I sprinted straight into the office. It makes my skin crawl at the thought of witches being in my pack. They are not even here yet and it has put me on edge. I can not say no because like it or not they are apart of my mates family.
I ran for a while and finally could feel myself calming down after like 2 hours. I sighed and layed down for a while.
"I do not like this as much as you do Sophia but I think we owe it to our mates to trust these witches if they do." Silver said in our mind link making me frown.
"So you trust them." I asked surprised.
She scoffed.
"No, far from it but I trust our mates." He said making me nod in understanding.
"And I trusted dad would know when something is not right and trusted dad would not let his guard down so much but look where it got us all and most off all look where it got dad. " I said back making her be quite.
Maybe I'm being harsh and maybe I'm not but I can not risk what happened to my pack happen again. I may only be 20 years old but me and my pack have been through a lot of shit tougher. It may seem like it happened a long time ago but 5 years is not actually that long to get over something like this so easily. It takes time.
I'm not saying I'm not allowing them to come tomorrow because I am. I will not keep my mates from them but I am saying i will have my guard up and so will my pack. I will make sure to expect the worse.
With that thought in mind I got up on my wolf paws and ran back to the pack house. A maid was already stood outside with clothes in hand ready. I ran to her taking the clothes in my mouth before trodding behind a tree and changing.
Once changed I headed back to the office and walked in. I grabbed a bottle off water from my small fridge in my office before gulping it down.
I sighed to myself looking out my office window.
I guess it's time to go check on Rider.
