Naina reached the classes normally the next day, of course after convincing Capt. Dr. Shalini. Naina went in the class as she took her seat in the back benches. Pooja was sitting with another girl and Naina just blinked at her in reassurance. Pooja smiled in relief.

Naina's mind was stuck on Dr. Ritu's words last night. But what shocked her more was the gentle feathery touch of the man who seemed to feel her unrest even without her saying it aloud.

Naina was busy in scribbling down the notes, more vigorously than before. Something shifted in her last night. She became more aware that this fight was not just for the innocence of her brother but also about her and her family. The family who dared to send their daughter in the same place where their son was brutally murdered.... yes.... murdered.... The place which took his soul, his breath, his dreams and his..... will to live......

Naina shook her head as she tried to wipe the thoughts and pay attention to the class. She felt someone's burning gaze and turned to look at Alekh who just smiled at her in response and gestured her to keep taking breaks and keep herself hydrated.

Naina couldn't help but chuckle slightly. After months, she could feel herself smiling a bit more. She was thankful for the people around her.

The bell rang, marking the end of second lecture. She turned around the see other cadets groaning in exhaustion as they cracked their knuckles and tried to soothe their neck. Suddenly, she heard some girls squeal as they tried to hide their blush. Naina shook her head as she realized who was coming for this lecture.

She couldn't help but wonder, how different her life would have been if her brother was still here. She looked at the girls and couldn't help but feel a pang in her heart. She was, again, reminded how different her life was from them. She couldn't let herself feel these silly emotions. She didn't have time for this. So, she rested her head on the table as she took few calming breaths.

"Good morning, class. How's everyone?" Rajveer asked in his ever-cheerful voice.

All the cadets responded with a smile and Naina was shocked to see the sudden burst of energy in them. Her gaze turned towards Rajveer, as she stared at him.

It seemed like the entire class was impressed with him. The Gentleman Cadets (GC) were impressed by his aura and confidence and hence, wanted to be like him. While, the Lady Cadets (LC), even though impressed by his looks, were in awe by his calculated and professional behavior. All this time, they have seen such men in movies, or maybe in their families or friends (for some, of course). But to see the authority and aura of an officer, even though he was always smiling and humble, was something which was intriguing yet fascinating for them. What made these cadets so excited was the fact that now, they were living the same life which they had seen from afar.

Rajveer began his lecture as he asked once again.

"So, do you guys remember the task I gave you all?" He asked as he placed the chalk on the table after drawing the signs and placed his hands on the table, leaning forward slightly.
