CHAPTER 10 (SPY)

Then why did he do that....he...he never told me about this and why he kept me in a
orphanage?

Jash:-"Ayana I don't know why.. It's my job I work for them don't you wonder why I use to left orphanage and came back and no one ever asked me about that.. hmm..? See whatever now please it's already 5:30 we should focus on our work".
(I nod )
(He pat on my head and left)

I still can't believe father Williams did that to me. My father never accepted me.
(Tears rolling down my cheeks).
I wiped my tears and decided to focus on my mother . I am confused she told me not to say anything to anyone but here everyone knows everything except me .
Cool...(I sighed)

Its finally time for the breakfast.
Jash was sitting there wearing a track suit like always with the orphanage logo on it. Suddenly his eyes meet mine he looked down with a sympathetic smile.
(He is trying his best to avoid my gaze).
Miles joined us. We completed our meal silently. Suddenly telephone rings breaking the silence. Sister Susan stood up in order to recived the call.

"For jash" she said loudly
She handed over the telephone to him.

"Yes sir.. yes.. ok sir....fine"
He hanged up the call. He looked at me and said *father Williams wants to meet you here today at evening.He knows what I told you today.

"I wonder how he got to know about that"..

"May be some kind of magic??"
"Umm , may be I don't think so..

Suddenly my gaze turns towards his suit again. But I found something wrong with the jacket jash was wearing.

After completing the meal I followed jash to his room. He saw me coming his way. Before he could say anything I shushed him. {He put his finger on his lips playfully}.
I took a few steps forward towards him and take the blue button out from his jacket. Which was a bit different from other buttons.

He took that button from my hand and watch it closely narrowing his eyes.
(A microphone? I whispered).
He nod looking at me he stood up and rushed towards his cupboard. (Silently).
He started taking out every single item Father Williams gave him before coming here. We found out that every single item was containing a small micro chip.

"Come with me" I said
He took that jacket off and followed me.
(Outside the cottage)

"Didn't you noticed that before?"

"I did but I thought it's some kind of fashion".

"Ok fine, well there is anything else we should focus on? I mean this cottage, Father Williams told you to take me here right this cottage might have hidden camera's or something.

"I am not sure actually. I never expected this from him. Whatever... He turned and started walking towards the car...

"Why are you working for him? I know you don't want to..
He didn't responded..
"Jashhh...,
First go and bring your bag fast .
"Fine, I took my bag and rushed towards the car". Now tell me, I narrowed my eyes *He shushed me* and said that he will explain me soon.
"As expected"(I frown) The car started.

After 15 minutes of drive finally miles asked something breaking the silence.

*Miles :- Is everything alright you two seems off today?
"Yah actually..(I looked at jash and he gave me a nod). Before I could say anything jash said "Father Williams was spying on us".

Miles:- what really..but how?..
Jash:- Long story... Oh wait did he also gifted you something??
Miles:- yes, this car. (he laughed)

Jash and I exchanged a worried look.
It means he must have attached something here too..

Miles:- Oh, are you talking about that microchip?
Both Jash and I :-"yes, how did you.... Find out.
Miles:-" I already knew that as I have worked with him before I already knew he must have attached something here.
"So, did you removed it already"?
Miles:- yes my dear... Don't worry
(He laughed)
Jash:- "oh shut it! miles don't try to impress her".(he said humorously) .
We both heaved a sigh of relief.

(We finally reached)
We visited the ruins of ancient witchcraft library. I looked back and saw miles approaching me.

"Do you really think we will found The ancient books about sinister forest and wizardry here?cause this place doesn't looks good I have a bad feeling about this.

Miles:- "umm, yess... This place looks haunted lol.. .According to the villagers this place is magical but few of them thinks it's a myth..

"What do you think about this place".

Miles:- That ancient book is a powerful book. I think magic might have used in order to protect it from falling into wrong hands.

"Fair enough then"

It was dark when we entered the library. No one was there. I saw a beam of light emerging from my pendent which illuminates the library.
suddenly we got a voice from our back
"who is this". A old mysterious man appeard in front of us from nowhere.
He proceed walking towards me and take my pendent on his hand and said
"Mary?"Is it you?
