My brother's best friend

Chapter 2 - A shocking revelation

Since I didn't really want to drive an hour from my house to Silverstone I had decided to get a hotel room for today and tomorrow.
And so here I am, at 6pm, in my room choosing what to wear for the evening to which my brother had invited me, Aurora was sitting on my bed while I studied my suitcase with the few clothes I had brought for these two days.
"Go for something casual, after all from the videos we saw online we understood what pilots' parties are like" She told me while she looked at me.
"Yes, you're right." I murmured as I grabbed a pair of white jeans and a black shirt, then went into the bathroom to change clothes.

I came out of the bathroom with my light curls arranged and dressed in what I had chosen and then I looked at myself in the mirror.
"How am I?" I asked Aurora who was still sitting on the bed. She looked up from the phone and looked at me.
"You're fine, but you should do this" She said as she walked over to me and unbuttoned the top two buttons on my black shirt.
"Now you're perfect" She giggled as she walked away. I continued looking at myself in the mirror then shrugged and put on my favorite red converse shoes.
"I'll take your word for it, now are you ready to go?" I said as I looked at Aurora.
"Of course, dear" She said as she walked out of the room and I followed close behind her rolling my eyes.
As soon as we arrived at the party Aurora immediately left I don't know where and Lando approached me with a boy.
"Yo Matty, I want to introduce you to someone" My brother said as he looked at me with his signature smile.
"Okay" I replied looking then at my brother.
"Okay! So Matthew this is Carlos my best friend, Carlos this is Matthew my twin brother" Lando said as he pointed to me and then the boy, then the boy and back to me.
I looked up and when Carlos and I looked at each other our eyes both widened.
"You! You're the one who went against me!" We yelled at each other while pointing at each other.
And then we both looked at Lando.
"Why didn't you tell me that idiot/snot is your best friend/twin brother!?"
Lando chuckled nervously and scratched his neck. "Oops... Well you two didn't even tell me that you had 'met' so we're even" He said looking at both of us and then walked away leaving me and Carlos alone.
