Woah!! Two updates today!! Hope you guys like it.

Shambhavi POV

My silence in solace was interrupted just like every other time by my twin, whose footsteps were loud enough to hurt my eardrum. As I cracked my neck to see her standing at the foot of my bed, looking at me with the same worried little eyes, I just rolled mine and got up. Well, it seems she carries news.

'Spill out my twin! What's the news now?' I said as I stood up and walked up to the mirror. The image that reflected me was not me; it reflected the exhausted version of a sad girl, and unfortunately, that was me.

'Our Suyamvar is happening this week. ' Her words made me stop and turn around.

'Come again?' I questioned her; what did I hear?

'Bhrata Balram has accepted the Suyavaram request for us, and we are to choose our husband from any of the kuru princes that attend it.' As those words left her mouth, I stood there trying to process, Suyamvaram? for us?

'No,' I replied as I went to sit in front of the mirror and comb my hair; I was done with this conversation.

'Sham, you can't just say no and be out of it.' My twin knows what I am thinking but needs me to spell it out.

'I said no, Subhadra, and I don't care if Bhrata Balram accepted it; I ain't accepting any husband for me, and I refuse to attend it,' I whispered as I massaged my scalp; I needed my relaxation hour for the conversation.

'Then you make sure to let our Bhrata know this. I'm not going to be your mouthpiece in this, ' I said. I looked at her. Well, someone is getting angry.

'Oh, when have you been anything other than my mouthpiece, ah? All you have ever been is my twin; nothing else is here. I hope you start being yourself, and I applaud you for that. And we all know that your heart is reserved for someone, and that's not one of Kauravas. At least, get some strength, Yoga Maya, and say it out loud,' I whispered the last part as I pushed past her to get a bath.

'I expect you to be gone as I am bathing, and as of this Suyamvar, I will be dealing my part on my end.' With loud and clear, I undressed myself to have a proper bath cause I have a show to run.

I let out a sigh of relief as the hot water hit my body, and I submerged myself. Maybe this is where I belong because the outside world hurts me.

As I washed myself and dressed in the most uncomfortable garments, I strutted to meet my so-called brothers or at least one of them.

My eyes searched as my legs carried me all through the palace and gardens as I heard the whisper of a voice I recognised. Finally, I whispered to myself and went and stood behind them.

As Balram's eyes found me, he smiled, 'Ah Sham, what are you doing here?' His affectionate voice almost made me forget why I was here, but I just shook my eyes and looked at the culprit next to him, 'Krishna'.

'Bhrata Krishna, leave! I have to talk with our Bhrata Balram,' I ordered; I don't care. He is god, and I am not surely going to give him the devotion crap.

Surprisingly, he left without saying anything to me. Good someone is learning I nodded.

'Bhrata Balram, what is happening with the suyamvar for Subhadra and me?' I asked him very well, knowing the answer but I couldn't get angry with him, no could we.

'Yes, Sham, we got a proposal from Hastinapur, which seems great. You and Subhadra are of marriage age, and what's more great than Kuru clam princes?' His sweet voice and words made me sad. He cares about us, but I can't do it.
