i breathed heavily as i forced myself to stand on my bruised legs, i looked around at the group of demons who stood around me, ready to kill... i clenched my fists and raised my guard, just as i went to fight my phone started ringing
y/n: wait!
i grabbed my phone from my pocket and answered the call
y/n: what do you want i'm busy...
Dan: so are we! we need your help!
y/n: ugh... with what?
Dan: we've got a group of ghouls attacking the base!
y/n: i'll be there soon...
i put my phone away and clenched my fist, dual blades extended out of my right gauntlet as i grabbed my rifle off my back before i rushed forward and slaughtered the demons, i placed my rifle on my back and retracted my blades before sitting my motorbike and speeding off towards the base, i got there and gunned down the ghouls outside the base before i rushed in and slaughtered the rest of ghouls
Dan: took you long enough
y/n: fuck you...
Dan: is that a request...
i looked at him before heading toward the armoury and placing my rifle back in its case, i felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Sophie grinning at me
Sophie: so... your legs hurting?
y/n: fuck off...
Sophie: so rude... you hurt me~
i rolled my eyes and sat down
Sophie: soooooo! me and Dan are going to true cross tomorrow.... you still not coming along?
y/n: i don't plan on it...
Sophie: *sigh* well... i know there is no changing your mind...
i looked at her as she slumped her shoulders, i let out a sigh and rubbed my wrist
y/n: fine! i'll join you...
Sophie: yay!!
i rolled my eyes and packed up all my weapons and took them to my room before i packed my clothes and sat on my bed, i heard a knock on my door before Dan and Sophie walked in
y/n: what?
Dan: we leave in 30 minutes
Sophie: do you want any help with your things?
y/n: no
they looked at me with dull eyes as i stood up looking down at them, i headed out with my stuff, a duffle bag of clothes and a steel trunk box containing my weapons, Dan and Sophie followed me out and grabbed their things before we put our stuff in the moving truck before we headed to our bikes, Sophie's Honda cbr1000, Dan's Aprilia rsv4 and my Kawasaki H2R 1200cc, they rushed off and i rushed behind them, quickly over taking them as i sped towards true cross academy, i took a quick detour and grabbed some food before i got to the entrance of true cross, everyone were looking at Dan and Sophie before i sped towards them, i screeched to a stop and shut my bike off before stepping off it, i took my helmet off and immediately everyone was starring, some girls and guys blushing and talking about me, i ignored them and parked my bike before turning to Dan and Sophie
y/n: lets get to our dorms
they nodded and we headed towards the building
Sophie: this place is so old!
Dan: yeah...
y/n: Mephisto said we can have this building to ourselves so we can be left alone
Dan: nice, welp, me and Sophie have to get to the opening ceremony, have fun!
