"So you are pregnant?" asked Utahime, side-eying Jiyuu.

She had the biggest smile, proudly showing off her ultrasound pictures. Jiyuu nodded, excitement evident in her eyes.

"Yes, 1 month pregnant." She smiled once again. Mei by your side reassuring you that the child would come out hideous.

You had come to pick up your sister's wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. The wedding was only a day away and you could practically feel the nervousness fill you up as you thought about the big day. You couldn't wait to see your sister walk down the aisle in her dream dress and stand by her side as she said "I do."

The thought of your childhood with your sisters flooded your mind, bringing back memories of playing dress-up and pretending to get married. You can still remember the day your sister begged you to be her groom, while she dressed up as the bride.

You both had a blast stealing your mother's wedding dress and using a random piece of cloth for her veil. It's hard to believe that the silly dream of getting married would actually come true.

"You know, that baby is just going to be so pitiful. Can't believe he actually hit that." Mei said with a scowl. You practically had to stop her from picking a fight with Satoru's lover. As much as you wanted to defend your friend's honor, you knew it was best to stay out of it and let them handle their own drama.

"I know, it's such a shame," You replied, trying to diffuse the tension. "But we can't control who Satoru chooses to be with. Let's just focus on enjoying the day and not cause any drama, okay?" Mei grudgingly nodded, but you could tell she was still seething with anger. You made a mental note to keep an eye on her for the rest of the night.

"I don't know how you do it, Y/N," Mei pouted, gazing at you in disbelief. "Cheating and then bringing the lover to your own sister's wedding? That's just cruel." She couldn't believe that the high school couple she had adored for so long had changed in such a hurtful way.

"I've learned to accept that people come and go in our lives, Mei. It's a natural part of life and not something we have control over. I'm trying my best to move on and let go of the past, because I know if I dwell on it," You paused feeling your heart ache. "I'll never be able to fully embrace the present and find true happiness again."

Before mei could reply to you, your sister stepped out. "This is it." she said showing off her wedding dress.

She beamed with happiness as she twirled around in her stunning white gown. The intricate lace and delicate beading made her look like a princess.

You couldn't help but feel a little envious that she got to show off such a beautiful dress to everyone at the wedding. "You look absolutely stunning," you couldn't help but exclaim with admiration.
