(Above is Aunt Megan)

"Have a good day at school, kiddo!" Aunt Megan called from her car as Keon walked to the school, he waved back with a nod. He then spotted a crowd of people, a boy Keon knew as Alexander spotted him.

"Hey Keon! Come meet the new kid!" He called, skirt drifting in the breeze. Keon had never seen Alexander without makeup either, nothing too crazy, just a bit of eyeliner and a hint of eyeshadow.

Keon jogged over, hearing the chatter of questions.

"Where did you come from?"

"What classes do you have?"

"What's your name?"

Questions piled on top of each other, one after another. When Keon made his way through the crowd with Alexander, he spotted the new kid.

A tall, muscular teen with blonde hair stood with a callous look on his face. Arms crossed, he and Keon made eye contact.

"You must be Keon. Right?" The teen asked, Keon couldn't help but freeze under the guy's tough gaze.

"Yes?" Keon questioned, the guy walked towards him and held out his hand.

"Well, hello Keon. I'm Caspian." He greeted, Keon nodded and shook Caspian's hand. He tried to give a smile, but Caspian wasn't smiling and just stared at Keon.

The bell then rang and the crowd of students dwindled. Keon hummed, "What's your schedule?"

Caspian showed him a piece of paper and Keon read it, only to be shocked.

"You have all my classes, that's cool." He said, trying to play down his shock.

Caspian nodded, "Mind showing me the way?"

Keon shrugged, "No problem, man." He said, motioning for Caspian to follow.

As the two walked down the hall, Keon couldn't help but notice Caspian would stare at him then look away.

"Everything alright?" Keon asked,

"Yeah." Caspian said, not giving anything else except that word.

Keon shrugged, "Where are you from?"

"...I'm from New York." He said,

"City boy?" Keon joked, Caspian glared at him, making him quiet.

He couldn't help but think he saw that glare somewhere before...

As they entered the class, Keon separated from Caspian to sit at his seat with another girl named Bianca. Caspian walked to the teacher,

"Where shall I sit?" He asked,

"Oh! You must be the new student, Caspian Fisher, correct?" Ms. Roger asked, he nodded.

"Yes ma'am." He said, she smiled.

"You can sit by Max, he's over there by the window." She said, Caspian nodded once more and went over to Max's table and sat down.

Keon focused on Ms. Roger's lesson about the tectonic plates, but he couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching him.
