Within a dark forest in the middle of the night, there stood a tall, lean man with dense muscles that were on clear display from his form-fitting black t-shirt and white robes that draped over his body. He wore a pair of white harem pants, a pair of black shoes once worn by legends like Gojo and Toji, and black beads around each of his wrists that were alarmingly dark.
It was void-like, and the beads themselves were, not so surprisingly, actual Truth-Seeking Orbs.
The man himself was tall, standing at a height of 6'4" and his eyes glowed with immeasurable power. Glowing blue eyes, with a flower petal design with them, now glowed violet.
The man here was Uzumaki Naruto, who had finally achieved all of his latent abilities for once. His silverish-white hair glistening in the Moon's luminescence over the dark and daunting night sky.
Naruto himself was training someone right now.
...
I sighed as I weaved in and out of the attacks that Mahoraga threw at me.
He's grown a lot stronger since last year when I first acquired him. He could probably give the Madara I fought a hard time... perhaps even beat him. I thought as I deflected his punches that he rained down on me.
But I could tell he was holding back. I sighed, "Quit holding back, Mahoraga. I know you're worried you might hurt me, but you should know by now that the point is for you to become much stronger than now. If I'm going to-" I leaped back from a sword swipe from Mahoraga as he stopped and regarded me, listening carefully to my words, "- summon you in battle, you'll need to be able to keep up with me. Your strength will be needed in my upcoming battles, and with your ability to adapt to any and all phenomena will be vital for that. For now... let's call it a day." I said as I smacked him on the chest and casually leaped several hundred feet into the air before landing onto the top of a tree, with Mahoraga landing on one not too far away from me.
I smiled as I looked up at the sky, Tomorrow morning, we'll finally be heading back to Konoha. Back to see my family that I've been away from for a little over three years now... I then suddenly blinked as my eyes, which were covered by a black blindfold that covered them, swiveled over to my side instantly as I felt a surge in chakra.
What the hell is that? That chakra... "Mahoraga!" I roared and he sank into my shadow as I took off to the skies, landing in a clearing a few miles away in less time that it would take a trained shinobi to react. I raised my body as I turned my eyes upon a shinobi and the one speaking with him. "The Raikage... Is there something I can do for you?" I questioned as I walked up next to Jiraiya, as he was speaking with the Raikage, A, himself.
The Raikage turned to me, "Ah, so you are the infamous Clan Saviour I've heard so much about." He said. He held out a hand to me and I grabbed it and gave him a firm handshake.
I nodded and said, "Indeed I am. I am Uzumaki Naruto. Is there a reason why you're all the way out here? The night before I return to Konoha, no less."
A, the Fourth Raikage, smiled as he said, "I simply wished to pay my respects to the man who has achieved so much in life. Saving the Land of Waves and Kirigakure, while saving the two most powerful clans within your village."
I narrowed my eyes as my clothes billowed in the wind, my arms folded before my chest. "I somehow find it hard to believe that you would magically show up the very night before we head back to Konoha. You had three years to meet with us." I said before lifting my eyepatch to reveal my glowing purple eyes with glowing green flower petals within, "And you seem to forget, but these eyes of mine see quite a bit. Including the soul of those who stand before me. So don't take me for a fool, Orochimaru." I declared.
