There's no proper way to start this, but perhaps the best way to do so is to put it in Deku's words. This story takes place in another universe: A superhuman society where 80% of the population has some kind of superpower known as a "quirk".

Whether our heroes are within that powerful or quirkless category is out of the question, simply because they never belonged in that universe in the first place. At least… they weren't supposed to.
In this world of chaos, a job that people used to dream about has found its own place, and now they're about to find their own. a new life awaits them there; a wonderful beginning in a world they've always dreamed of, along with the people they never thought would exist.
