Aly was so excited that she was finally in Boston for the beginning of Kiley's bachelorette vacation, she'd arrived a few hours early so she could go to the bridal shop to be fitted for her bridesmaid dress. She barely got a hello in to Charlie before Kiley marched her out of their apartment. It had been a very quick errand and they were on the clock as they had a flight to catch, needing to be at the airport in exactly one hour. The seamstress had worked quickly and was finishing up writing down the measurements as the conversation quickly changed from weddings to the impending vacation.
"So Jeremy told Charlie that he's excited to see you." Kiley gave Aly a little side eye which made her laugh. "Do you think anything will happen between you guys?"
"Kiley!" She shook her head. "He's younger than me for a start and--"
"Oh shush! That doesn't make a damn difference." She rolled her eyes. "He likes you, you clearly like him to some degree so I don't think I'd be shocked if you got together on this trip."
"Stop!" Aly laughed. "We're just friends."
"For now." Kiley mumbled as she helped Aly down off the step. "Just have some fun, if you end up getting together you can just enjoy it and figure it all out later."
"Later?"
"Yeah, you'd have to move to Boston so we could both watch our men at the game."
Aly laughed. "I'm never going to be a WAG. Especially to Jeremy Swayman." She jokingly shuddered as she headed off to the dressing room. "He's cute but I couldn't see him being boyfriend material or me having a long distance relationship."
"Why not?"
"Kiley. Stop trying to set me up with a Bruin." She laughed. "Me and Swaydog are friends."
"We'll see." She smirked. "I'll bet my wedding that you end up with his tongue down your throat. I don't think anyone would be shocked. You guys are great together."
"This weekend is about you and Charlie, not me and Swaydog."
"You know its Bulldog, right?"
"Yeah, but I prefer Swaydog." She laughed. "He's never told me he hates it and now it's stuck so he's gonna need to deal with it." Aly unzipped the bridesmaid dress and pulled it off, hanging it up so it could be taken away to get altered. "Well, we have a plane to catch so I suggest we head to yours to grab our stuff and get to the airport."
"I'm so excited!" Kiley practically screamed as she pounced on Aly to give her a huge hug. She'd put so much thought and planning into this and there was no way Kiley thought she'd not enjoy herself. She knew it was going to be lit.
"This is probably going to be the last time we get to relax until your wedding, especially with the playoffs being right around the corner." Aly shook her head. "It's so conflicting for me, I work for the Penguins and with your dad but then I feel like I have to support my bestie and her mans team."
"Tell me about it. I hate those match ups, I'm gonna need my dad to coach the Bruins."
"Why not have Charlie become a Penguin?"
"Imagine?" Kiley almost snorted. "Speaking of my dad, he was saying you pissed him off at the family skate because you wouldn't join him and my mom."
"True." She nodded. "Did he tell you what ended up happening?"
"He just said you threw a tantrum and he ended up leaving." She shrugged. "Did something happen?"
"So he's yelling at me and Sidney Crosby comes over and takes his side, they get me some skates and force me onto the ice." She rolled her eyes as she smirked. "Ended up doing laps with Sid and having the most bizarre conversations ever, then I got injured by the boot and he had to pretty much carry me to first aid. It was so embarrassing."
