"Edward, it's just a dance! Do we have to go?"

We were currently in his bedroom, my head on his chest as we laid on the bed as he ran his fingers through my hair. It would have been soothing if it wasn't for the fact Edward had said we were going to the girls choice dance in a few weeks time. The dancing didn't bother me, it was having to socialise that bothered me. I'm not a people person unless I'm close to you, and I really didn't want to be surrounded by hormonal teenagers gushing about their dresses.

"Of course we do, it's one of the joys of high school," he mused, "plus it'll be the only chance you'll get as a human"

I frowned. "That's not true, we still have prom"

Which I will try to get out of.

"Which we're going to," dang, I thought he couldn't read my mind?

I sat up and looked at him. "But it's girls choice! I haven't asked you!"

"You don't have to, as a couple we're going together" he said, smirking before looking serious. "Look Bella, in the books we rarely did anything like this. We didn't go dancing or on dates. I want to change that, I want to do things the right way. You're my girl and I want to show you off and create as many memories with you while you're still human"

He touched my cheek and I knew that he knew he had won me over. I stuck my tongue out of him defeated and flopped back on the bed. Looks like I'm going to have to go dress shopping. Great.

"I'm not going to remember much of my human life when I'm changed anyway" I pointed out remembering how my human memories would fade over time.

"I will. I want to make as many as possible so one day I can sit and remember all the good times we had" he said playing with my hand. "Plus it'll be nice to tell Renesmee all of our times together so she'll always know how much her father loves her mother. Even when she was human"

I rolled my eyes but grinned and so did Edward. Okay he definitely got me there and he knew it. Anything to do with our daughter would have been agreeing with anything. I frowned and pouted.

"That's not fair, using our daughter like that"

Edward laughed and pecked me on my lips. Stupid get what you want vampire. He pulled me onto his lap and we stayed like this for a couple of minutes before he groaned in annoyance. I looked at him confused.

"Alice wants us"

I groaned too and reluctantly let him lead us out of his bedroom and downstairs. Charlie, since finding out that me and Edward were official -word travelled fast around here - allowed me to stay at theirs for longer under the promise that I would be 'careful'. I shuddered remembering the awkward phone call after school.

We reached the last step before I was dragged away from Edward and pulled onto the sofa next to an over excited Alice. Edward chuckled but sat across from us. I turned to face Alice and saw that she was practically bouncing in her seat.

"We're going shopping at the weekend for your dress!" She gushed. "I've already seen it and oh my god it's beautiful!"

I couldn't help it, I sank back onto the sofa and let out a long groan at the thought of shopping. I had been trying to put it off any shopping trips with Alice for ages, but it seemed like I wouldn't be able to get out of this one.

"Can't you just order it and save time?" I asked and Edward snickered.

"Of course not Bella! That would just ruin the fun of it!" Alice protested, offended.

"It's not like it's my wedding dress or anything!" I exclaimed.

"No it's not but that doesn't matter!" She clapped her hands. "It will be perfect!"

I looked at her and something in her eyes made my eyes snap wide in shock. I sat up and stared at her wide eyed.

"What?" She asked innocently.

Edward sat back. "I'd love to see how she will react to this. I told you it was too soon"

"Alice...you haven't started already buying for the wedding have you?" I'm pretty sure my heart was hammering in my chest.

"No..." I gave her a pointed look. "Okay! Yes! There's so much that needed to be changed since you both know how it went! Especially the dress! Edward knows what it looks like so of course I had to change it!"

My mouth popped open in shock and I stared at her in disbelief. We weren't even engaged or even at that stage yet and she was already getting started on the planning!

"What's wrong with the dress?" Edward asked. "It was beautiful"

Alice shot him a pointed look. "It was but the groom isn't supposed to see the dress until the day! Get with the times people!"

Edward laughed and I shook my head in disbelief. She babbled on about the places we'd be going when we went shopping and we decided Seattle would be the place to go. Alice reassured me that my wedding dress wouldn't be making an appearance until it was time and I sighed in relief. I wasn't ready for that yet.

It was decided that on Saturday Alice would pick me up along with Rosalie and Esme whilst the boys went hunting. I made her promise not to pick me up before 10 - which she pouted claiming we were going to waste the day- until Edward told her I wanted to sleep in.

I grinned, Edward knew how much I loved sleep.

We agreed on 11 which pleased Alice. I turned my attention to the TV which was currently playing some random sitcom when Alice suddenly went into a vision and Edward went rigged in his seat.

"What's wrong?"

Alice snapped out of it. "James...Victoria...they're coming to Forks"

Well shit.

That goes my good day.
