"Now what?!" I heard Samaira say as the three of us entered my room

Devyansh was still in the haze of all the things that happened today and trust me it took me years to digest the truth but still it feels raw every time I remember it

He was not my brother by blood, but I remember Maa sa telling me to love him with all my heart because he was not the one at fault

I'm glad Samaira forgave him too and I'm really surprised how maturely she handled his whole confession situation.

But how dare he say that to her, that too in front of me

I remembered his words and went by his side and hit his head to which he whined "Ouch! Mujhe kyu mara?" He said.

"Aise hi. Mann Kiya" I said back and sat beside him while he rubbed his head

"Hum saaf saaf jaake Aarav Chachu se puchke aate hai, ki akhir 10 saal pehele kya hua tha?" Samaira sounded frustrated at this point but she looked adorable, her eyes scrunched up in an adorable manner as she sat on the bed with an annoying frown on her face

I went up to her and sighed, sitting beside her

"Is there no one else who could give us an idea about who did that to your mother?" I heard her say

And I shaked my head into a no

Trust me, I have tried very hard to remember each and every person present into the room that night. But every time I try to think, only blur memories appear in front of my eyes

"Wo hum soch rahe the...during the teenage years of my father the photographs, camera bohot rare the...toh ye photo kisne click ki?" Samaira asked me while staring at the picture she brought back from the band darwaza and I made a mental note to keep it back there again so no one knows about it.

"You're right, only the royal families were allowed to get photographed during those times. And there were these particular foreign photographers who used to come and click pictures of the royal family, the palace keep alive the ancient heritage of India in their journals and stuff"

As I told her this....I realised something

"Samaira....the photographer.....he was there that night"

he was there that night"
