The wind constantly blew across me as I sat on a tree stump, just waiting for anything to happen really.

I wonder..

Was there any update on Marred's situation?

She and her counterpart looked like it was serious.. yet Zemblanity and Retro Coast.. disappeared.

Maybe it is true.

I should be worried.

But for some reason.. I'm not..?

Why am I not afraid?

I don't understand.

I don't have anything else to do.. so..

What can I do?

Looking at the distance, I noticed a familiar yellow feather.

..yellow feather?

I immediately knew who this was.

But I didn't see her.. how odd.

Looking in the opposite direction, I noticed something weird.

A yellow crystal?

I tried to go near and inspect it.

But that wasn't very smart of me.

It somehow started corrupting my map..

I yelped, what the fuck???

I started running in the other direction, trying to evade that.. crystal.. or whatever it's doing to my map.

While I was running, I bumped into something. Or.. someone.

She turned around.

"LOST WOODS???"

MD exclaimed.

"HOLY HELL MARRED DREAMS! You gotta-"

I pointed behind me, and for sure she saw what was happening.

"OH GOD!! A-Alright! Lost Woods stay behind me and try to run as far as you can!"

She instructed me. She then began using her abilities, I wasn't sure what she was trying to do.. but it looked like she was buying me time.

"Wait- Marred, what about you?"

"It's okay! I can handle this!"

She looked like she was struggling. I wanted to help her out.

"MARRED- is there something I can AT LEAST do to help you??"

I tried asking her again.

"NO- IT'S OKAY LOST WOO- LOOK OUT!"

I noticed that one of the crystals was literally flying towards us.

I didn't know what would happen next.

I just felt the sensation of something grabbing my wrist.

...

And the next thing I knew..

We're in the lobby.

She didn't dare to utter a word after that.

But all I could think of..

"I got.. saved?"
