Olive woke up in Marcus' bed once more. She sat up but was stopped by a painful headache.

"Agh," she sucked her teeth.

"Woah, easy there," Marcus said by the door, hands full with water and a pill.

"What happened?" Olive said groggily. Marcus kneeled beside her and handed her water.

"You were crazy drunk, I couldn't find Aspen so I just thought to bring you here," he said shyly.

"Aww," Olive chugged the pill and water, Gulping down her own flustered feelings as well.

"What time is it?"

Marcus sat down beside her, "2pm"

Olive playfully hit his chest, "Skipping class. Classy."

He chuckled "Since we're stuck in bed," he pulled out his laptop, "I thought we'd just watch some movies while we do so."

"I love the language you are speaking," she pulled the laptop and began typing movie titles. Marcus cuddled up beside, a smile never leaving his face.

Time passed and it was already 5, Max and the gang were over at Max's room, and the two, Marcus and Olive, lied comfortably on the bed, finishing the breakfast club.

"Want a drink before we watch another?" Marcus asked softly, unable to stop running his fingers through Olive's hair.

"You're beginning to read my mind so well, it's scaring me," Olive answered.

Marcus chuckled, getting up to grab some drinks. On his way there, he overheard Ginny complain about sex, and somehow that just made him insecure. Knowing what they went through together.

He returned to his room, only to find Olive up and holding a phone to her ear.

"Oh hey," she whispered, "I'm sorry but I have to go, my, uh, parents need me back at home."

She patted his shoulder before walking out of the room. Of course she lied, she lived alone. But her mother's assistant was urging her to go home in such a panicked tone that Olive worried for the worse.

She ran back home and grabbed her telephone, dialing her mother.

"Mum, are you okay?"

"Olive," she could hear her mother's trembling voice.

"Mum?"

"Your father has signed the papers…I'm sorry my love,"

Olive tried to keep in her tears, she had seen this coming a long time ago, her father's family has always hated her and her father never loved her enough to fight for her.

Well, ex-father now, she supposed,

She was no longer his daughter, and he was no longer her father.

…

Olive was stuck at home, crying in her bed, it had been a while since she had the chance to stay at home alone. Aspen was still out taking care of his own family drama and Olive had to learn to accept hers when her phone popped with notifications.

It was Max.

"Olive Olive! Can you come over, pleaseeee, it's just me and Ginny."

Olive didn't know at what point did it translate to Max that they were close enough friends to be inviting each other over at each other's house but she didn't mind. She needed to get her mind off the fact she was now fatherless.

And the ever so talkative Max would do the trick.

She grabbed a coat and her phone before leaving her house, walking over to the Baker's.
